Crouchie's Lawyer replied to Glasgow_Saint's topic in The Saints
As I said, I called BS on him and was really asking someone who has access to SSN to verify this. Have I put 'we've signed him'? Something about a pot, kettle and black springs to mind but I can't put my finger on it... -

My mate has just texted me to say we are announcing signing of Damiao for £25m and Banega for £15m today and it will be on SSN shortly. I called BS on him but he is adamant... anyone able to get to SSN and check this out? -
Fantasy Premier Leagues are open for registration
Crouchie's Lawyer replied to NY Saint's topic in The Saints
Hi guys, hope mod'd dont mind me posting this but if you fancy joining a fantasy football league with prizes, free to enter and free to play the Power Mortgages Ltd, a Southampton based mortgage brokers are hosting a league. Invites to our clients will be sent out next week so there are only a few people so far (mainly staff) but anyone is welcome to join if they wish. http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ Code to join this league: 360447-93154 Prizes!! Every week, the person with the most game points for that week will win £10 in gift vouchers Every month, the person leading the league will win £20 in gift vouchers The eventual winner of the league will win £100 of gift vouchers T&C's Power Mortgages Limited Decision is final in every instance. In order to make this a viable proposition with the time it will take to administer the league, we need there to be enough participants. The prizes will only be available if there is a minimum of 20 participants in the league exclusing Power Mortgages Limited employees In the event of there being a draw in points for the weekly or monthly prize, the players with the most points will go head to head in the following week/month and whoever scores higher in that following week/month will win the prize for the previous month (think top trumps where you draw the next card if two cards with the same value are played against each other!) In the event of a tie for the league at the end of the season, the winner will be the person with the most points in the final game week. If that is tied too it will go to the previous game week and so on. Participants are entitled to submit one team per person each - no multiple entries Winners will be paid in Post Office 'One 4 All' gift vouchers which will be sent within a week of winning. There are no cash alternatives. Polite request though, please keep teams names non offensive! Be good if some of you want to join though to see who the best arm chair manager is amongst us! -
Ex Saints vs Jolly Farmer Pub Warsash on Firiday night

Pointless fact but my great grand parents used to be the Landlords of said pub. I used to love playing on the trampolines in the garden round the back. -
So.... One in, one out worked out...

Check the thread which started last week. Page 2 titled 'one in, one out this week' started by GS -
Maybe you can keep your wummery refined to the muppet show now Glasgow. You don't ever 'break' anything yourself. Your showed this by claiming to break the fact Everton were interested in Wanyama on that tread only to be shown by another poster posting a link that there was an online article around 10 days before you 'broke' the story. As Hypo has said, you do it every year trying to wind up the sheep on here who love to hear information and hang off your every word (sadly) no matter how wrong it is. Tip: if you're gonna wum then try and do it a little less arrogantly. Cue stock response from GS "I broke the lovren story (you didn't) I broke the Damiano interest (you didn't), kit launch, released list blah blah blah" And boasting about bring the most popular person on SWF ever (as you have done on another thread) make you look like a 13 year old school girl who tries to add lots of 'friends' on Facebook to make themselves look popular. Even after accusing you of being a wum you even sent be a friend request?! Haha

Summer 2013 HCDAJFU / Transfer thread
Crouchie's Lawyer replied to Glasgow_Saint's topic in The Saints
Exactly! Please show me where you broke the Damiano interest too Glasgow. I've checked through both the Damiano thread and this one and as far as I can see you are no where near the first person to mention our interest. I'm sure if I could be arsed to look through the Banega thread and other threads for stories you claim to have broke (which as someone has said seem to be growing in numbers) it would be the same. I'd suggest if anyone likes to hear snippets of saints transfer information yet do not really care if it is true or not then simply sign up to ****ter and follow anything with the saintsfc hashtag. There are a number of 'agent' accounts linking us with Messi and the like which you can get wet over -

Summer 2013 HCDAJFU / Transfer thread
Crouchie's Lawyer replied to Glasgow_Saint's topic in The Saints
Glasgow has been a bit quiet.... Tick rock on the old reputation.... Would be happy to be proven wrong mind but personally, if I were in the know, I wouldn't spout the same line "I broke the blah blah blah blah story" every 5 minutes someone challenges your ITK credibility. I'd probably take the smug high ground and simply say "chose to believe what you want, we shall see..." Besides, a couple of the things you 'broke' I'm pretty sure were broke by others before you. Only people ITK in this forum from what I've seen are VMAN and K Billy. Everyone else seems to be 'look at me'... Like I said, happy to be proved wrong but boasting about things you claim to know, drawing in others like the pied piper draws in rats doesn't make you look good when it doesn't come off. Miltonroader the second! -
Who was it that said there would be exciting news this Friday (just gone)? Not implying it was you Glasgow (it may have been?) but someone definitely said someone was signing on Friday just gone and that obviously didn't happen. I thought K Billy was the first person to say Lovren was signing?

Hi guys, some of you have probably seen this already as it's doing the rounds on Facebook at the moment and it got me thinking about possibly purchasing some of these to rent out for 5 aside games lasting 30 minutes. I'm enquiring to the cost of importing these and wanted to do a little research. How much would you be prepared to pay (per person) to hire one of these for 30 minutes in a 5 aside game? Could either be indoors or outside. Thanks!

The 'who's been rejected for season ticket finance' thread
Crouchie's Lawyer replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
I can confirm as a Mortgage Advisor that lenders (for mortgage purposes) certainly do not like clients who have used pay day loans. They have a pidgeon hole'd view that it shows a sign of financial despiration and poor financial management which doesnt bode well when you are trying to get a mortgage. I would assume it is the same for other forms of finance like personal loans, credit cards and anything else which may require a credit check. It could also be something you simply were not aware of. You can get a copy of your credit file from Credit Expert. Feel free to use our link http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-5438454-10366638 or just Google them. Check you have no defaults or county court judgements as that would affect your ability to get a number of forms of credit. Late and missed payments on credit cards and loans as well as going over overdraft limits also affect your score as well as a large number of recent credit checks. Credit Expert give you handy tips on how to improve your credit score too. If anyone needed any mortgage advise by the way, feel free to drop me an email: ben@powermortgages.co.uk we're based in Southampton so nice and local to most of you and always keen to help a fellow Saints fan! (I know, shameless plug...) -
would you rather have had redknapp than Pinocchio?
Crouchie's Lawyer replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
No, did Redknapp keep us up last time? He would come here, demand to spend the kind of money he did for the fishy few on washed up has beans who might (although highly unlikely) do it for one season to keep us up but would be on ££££'s per week. The new boss has the right attitude and although I don't like the way Cortese got rid of Adkins or the timing of it, what is done is done and we have to get behind the new guy and support him. The time for bickering, moaning and complaining can be at the end of the season if Cortese's plan has back fired. Redknapp is a mercenary though, just look at his comments about QPR having players they cannot afford for a club with 18k crowds, players on too much and not worth it then he goes and signs a player on rumoured to be £70k a week. He is a dodgy, ball sack faced chump and I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club again. -
Who we've been linked with for January thread...
Crouchie's Lawyer replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Anyone else slightly concerned the new manager has indicated that we do not need anyone else in the rest of the transfer window? I thought the one good thing to come from him coming on board is that we may attract a couple of big name players which would enhance the squad this window which we may not have been able to get with Adkins otherwise seems very strange timing to do this?? -
Would tie in with a tweet I saw on one of the other threads where a Spanish (?) person had said two of his friends would get a new job tomorrow...

Not working. As much as I think Clyne is a good player and Gox has a good left foot they leave us exposed too much at the back time and time again. May work for the Uniteds, Man City's and Arsenal who have decent players to back it up but for a team where we are we need a solid back four. Keep clean sheets first. We have attackers and midfielders who can score. We don't need to lose half our defence every time we have an attack. The amount of goals we have shipped and the 2nd WBA goal goes so show we get rinsed on counter attacks. Something needs to be done. Aside from the Lambert shot on the bar (which was a lucky deflection) and his header on the first half we haven't looked like scoring at all and for a supposed attacking team that's very poor! Attacking mentality isn't working. Build a solid team. I'd rather see us nick the odd 1-0 and play solidly, like WBA have done tonight than see us score 1 or 2 yet concede 3,4 or 5. Sort it out, we're becoming the laughing stock of the league and the whipping boys

Well done, 10 SWF points to you. I would like to point out he hasnt stopped beating that same drum 2 years down the line. Do you now realise what a twonk you look like Alpine when we were promoted that very season you whinged like a little girl? As well as the season after then. Maybe you should save your bed wetting for after the season has finished if we do not happen to do well, and starting a thread like 'Do you think our lack of quality transfers this season was the reason we struggled?' otherwise you just end up looking like a right div.... AGAIN. It's laughable how you started that thread in July though but here we are 2 years later and you're doing the same again, albeit slightly later. Do you not understand most business is conducted at the end of the window?

I thought I would try and look back through the records to see how many pages the Skacel affair took but sadly, I think this was before the whole history of the site was wiped a few years ago so I cant seem to find it. I did however stumble across a few thread title gems which made me laugh and thought I would share one particular one with you all to take a step away from the Ramirez saga. I thought I could make it into a little game of sorts. Now no cheating now, you only cheat yourself, so no looking for it but who was the author of the following thread dated the middle of July 2010 (with a whopping 1 month and 15 days before the transfer window closed!) 'Brutally honest, forget it's me posting this, who is disappointed in our transfers' 10 SWF points up for grabs for the first correct answer.... Go!

HCDAJFU - The transfer deadline countdown
Crouchie's Lawyer replied to saint_stevo's topic in The Saints
I think the easiest way to do this is to ban Hypo and DPS. Bed wetting girls seem to drag every thread down by continuosly *****ing and moaning about our transfer policy and how NA has said seomthing and not delivered on it. It is not even 1st September yet FFS! We all understand you want us to sign defenders, no one is in disagreement with you on this matter but FFS leave it up to the club and STOP going on and on and on and on and on about it! You are starting to really act like WUM's and annoying people by posting the same thing again and again and again! Mike, could I suggest a thread set up for people to whinge and moan about our transfer activity and infractions dished out to people who comment on here flounting the rules? And before one of you smart arses points out, I am fully aware this post does not contain any speculation about transfers but I am just reiterating Mike's frustration as I happen to like this thread and dont want it closed again due to the same old dullards spouting the same old **** -
Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition
Crouchie's Lawyer replied to Jimmy_D's topic in The Saints
I wonder if any of the bed wetters criticising NC for 'going on holiday' at a critical time would care to apologise for being big girls blouses then? Looks like this 'holiday' may have been spent trying to secure one of Europe's hottest talents which we may just pull off...
