I didn't follow those performances, but given West Ham were happy to let him go, I'd guess they weren't much to talk about

half decent for the championship

His boyhood club told him he wasn't wanted more like

a spoonful of suga helps the pompey go down, the pompey go down, the pompey go down oh a spoonful of suga helps the pompey go down in a most delightful way -
Not sure I would go as far as saying we controlled the game. There were times when we were stretched and the Swiss were on top

Agreed but the problem with this is if you don't get out of the champs before the parachute payments end and you end up becoming a non-entity championship side. The championship is a graveyard of ex PL clubs who failed to get repromoted before their parachute payments ended
-
yeah - that's obviously BS

I'd take The Kat over Bazunu every time
-
I guess that would depend on what the new contract offer looks like? If he's offered significantly more money, that would be a reason not to sit tight for another year.

apologies double post

DId you watch Fury's last fight. He hardly moved!
-
england even managed to make Tadic look like a world beater in his prime to be fair
-
I did and it seemed the consensus was he is a great guy full of positivity. But most of the Bees fans say he was good in the champs and not fast or mobile enough for the PL?
-
You mean will smallbone the Irishman, Joe Aribo the Nigerian and Shea Charles the Northern Irishman?
-
they wouldn't be buying him as he is a free agent. If there was a transfer fee involved I wonder how many would be interested then
-
He is not the answer in the PL as he has previously shown. So I hope it is done and we can move on
-
I think a better question is can Che contribute goals and assists that would keep us in the Prem? And follow up question - Is there someone out there in our wage range who could improve on what he has to offer? I think he would be ok as a backup striker and thats as far as it goes. Let's face it, he didn't even do that well in the Champs
-
Absolutely dispute he could get anywhere near MLT status. Besides, his reputation here was ruined not because he moved but the way in which he did it.

Being as we played half of last season at walking pace, I'm not sure that's an issue 🙂

Me too

One of my all time faves! What a player
-
I haven't followed it, but is there any chance we could get Brooks?
-
I agree. Considering they paid less than £2mill for him, a couple of seasons in the scottish prem isn't suddenly going to make him worth "silly money"
