  1. Exactly my point - it isn't the number of games somebody plays that makes us remember them, it is how good they were.
  2. If you think i can be bothered following some random link just for you to make a point think again. He is at best average and at times a liability when we were in the prem
  3. Both of them are far far away from even being considered legends. Both will be long forgotten as soon as they hang up their boots.
  4. Upset by that. RIP Mel, you're a Saints legend, part of the only Saints team to actually win a first class trophy. I believe Mel sold his FA cup winning medal a few years back to raise some money for his kids.
  5. Bednarek came back as his alter ego Janny B. Who's to say ABK couldn't do the same? Belly K for example
  6. Occasional is one or twice a season, not one or twice every 5 or 6 games
  7. He's a dodgy keeper and does not inspire confidence. At Watford, the last minute goal. When the guy shot I though 'phew' that's not going in, only to be surprised by the home crowd roar as Bazza proceeded to dive over the ball and let it in. He is slow getting down, especially to his left.
  8. Not by a long way
  9. But the club is "relaxed" as to whether there will be any incomings or outgoings
  10. Bednarek wasn't either and he came back as the all conquering Janny B. Lets get Danny I back asap 😜
  11. Nah, he'd be even more of a loon. Imagine all the conspiracy theories and victim stories he would have gathered up there in Scouseland over the course of a season or two
  12. I went to Watford and Cov games. It was hard not to let your mind wander the football is so dull and uninspiring.
  13. Haven’t read through all the comments. But I thought we were drab and dull today. Always looking to go sideways and backwards. No wonder that guy nodded off at the WBA game. Home crowd were pretty much silent until we started time wasting which served 2 things: 1. Home crowd got riled up and excited 2. 8 mins of injury time, otherwise it would have probably been nearer 4 both contributed to the equaliser which Gavin really should have saved anyway
  14. I went today. Pretty dull stuff. Possession is everything with little threat up front. I knew we’d concede when 8 mins injury time was put up. I couldn’t see the point of us doing all the time wasting as it all just gets added on now these days. did think the Stuart Armstrong time wasting effort was funny though
  15. Just after that a Brom player skied a chance over the bar and the chant then was "go back to sleep". Can't beat good British football banter
  16. I'll be more convinced if he addresses our inability to keep a clean sheet. Is it one this season so far? Clean sheets / conceding a lot fewer goals will be the key to this season and is clearly the area that needs improvement
  17. If he is half as good as Funners was then we’ve got a good one
  18. We scored 2 at Preston, one was a piece of skill from KWP, one was Bazza assisted. Our attackers in that game were dismal, so I'm not "relaxed" about it at all?
  19. Narcissistic, but without the real world results or talent to back it up. Just like Mad Nate. Jose was the same as you say, but had the talent to back it up.
  20. being as we never win 5-4 or draw 0-0, you are going to be disappointed
  21. Not going to insult you by asking if you have actually watched the games this season. I presume you have. On the whole, our football is dull and predictable. We are 5th because we are in a league which is a whole world removed from PL quality. Doesn't take much to do well. Look at Leics / Ipswich. We have scraped numerous results in the last minute. We have not dominated many teams (oddly enough, we did dominate Leeds). Worst of all, we have kept only 1 clean sheet all season, which is just not acceptable. I followed the Ipswich game in midweek. They went 1-0 up and you just knew that was game over. We literally need to score 3 just to start believing we can get a draw. There's a short window where we have a massive financial advantage over other teams in the league. We are wasting it.
  22. Yeah but only West Ham and Saints fans would boo after drawing at home to Rotherham 🙂
  23. And we won't be with him managing us. But to go along with your argument... let's say he somehow managed to get us promoted. Do you really think he'd be sacked then? Of course he wouldn't. And then we would literally be getting raped every game in the Prem. Forget 9-0...we're talking more embarrassing than that.
  24. he isn't. and in any case, he most certainly is not the man to manage a team in the PL. They would be ripped apart
  25. i'd say its both. The system doesn't favour a central striker and the people we've tried there have been shit
