  1. Gordon Arms changed hands fairly recently, a month or so back. Not been and tried out the new owners yet, may give it a go next weekend. Rockstone is pretty decent for grub, but their tripadvisor site is worth checking out for the adverse comments they get, the owner is clearly a very touchy and sensitive soul!
  2. I'll pay up when it gets formally announced! I'm still clinging on to the notion that I might be right!
  3. Pretty sure it was against Bayern, don't know about the atmosphere, other than that they thrashed us?
  4. I really don't get the problem people have with looking like Stoke or Sunderland, and using that as justification for doing something different. We don't look like them; we have a Saints badge, and we'll (probably) have an entirely different sponsor to either of them. So we'll look like Saints.
  5. Blimey, I remember watching him playing for Eastleigh once.
  6. Spain will put double figures past Tahiti.
  7. And breathe....
  8. Good charity, I'm happy for you to give to them too. 1st July.
  9. Mine is already cleared Actually, not much of a bet for me after all!!
  10. You name it Colin, I'll match it. Make it for charity, though. I always like to see others give to a good cause.
  11. Against mine? Sure...
  12. Hmmm, I'm really struggling for questions! If anyone has got one then chip in....
  13. It was Jon Gittens! Most random. He actually did quite well, got through his first heat.
  14. No and no. I'll give a clue; this was the player's second spell with us.
  15. No to any of the answers so far.
  16. It would seem you're correct: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/5786306/Top-10-bizarre-football-injuries-to-rival-childs-play-of-Liverpool-defender-Fabio-Aurelio.html
  17. It wasn't. This would have been 1991 or 1992 I'd have thought, just slightly pre-Premier League era.
  18. OK, slightly obscure one. In the early 90s a competition was held whereby each First Division club entered a player into a 100m race, which they ran in their kit and football boots. Who was Saints' entrant?
  19. Mayonnaise, a jar of which Beasant dropped on his foot which ruled him out of playing.
  20. I'm going to say 2, both for Dixon (I can't remember Speedie scoring for us).
  21. Is it Sturrock; Scotsman with Plymouth?
