  1. I'd agree with the original list except for Lambert. Love having him but I think our whole ethos of building our game around him would hold us back from being a top 6 side. He's clearly good enough for the PL and as a starting choice for a mid table side, but not a starting slot for a top 6 side IMO.
  2. Could the aap3 logo be a bit bigger maybe? Our fans on Neptune can't quite make it out from there.
  3. He could also play, in fact he was absolutely brilliant for us, but Casey always loved a tackle and was an enforcer for the younger generation of Le Tissier, the Wallaces, Shearer etc coming through. I'd have backed him against Hurlock any day; it was a sad day when Branfoot saw Jimmy as a threat to his authority and binned him out. A really great bloke, too.
  4. That was only after I sent you that PM about him in February.
  5. Funnily enough I saw him yesterday while walking along Wembley Way. I'd seen the recent pictures of him but it's still absolutely staggering how huge he is now.
  6. That's all it would take, though. Bringing out a red shirt this season kind of made sense; there's only so much you can do with traditional stripes, and if you keep churning them out year on year I doubt that's as good a sales strategy as mixing it about. Even if the red shirt was seen as totally sh*t by some, it was novel and different and I can see that plenty probably bought one for that novelty factor. The test will come if we find we have indeed been subject to a rebranding and we have an all-red kit again this year. Its very much a lite-version of what Cardiff have been through, and a situation I'd much prefer to avoid. But if it does happen, the only way we're getting stripes back on the agenda is if people wholesale refuse to accept the re-branding and don't buy the kit. Its the only protest we have of any note whatsoever; but I think fans' ambivalence to the whole affair will get the better of them in the long run.
  7. I hope its the opposite, and rather than buying the shirt last season because it was a novelty, this time round we'd actually have some significant opposition to it as a future re-branding. Sadly I can't see that being the case, there's plenty of fans who'll buy the shirt come what may.
  8. Oh. I thought your point was also about changing the badge, TDD. My mistake.
  9. What on earth are you on about TDD? I quite like our badge but I'm not averse to a change if its a decent change.
  10. Everton have now announced that the new crest will only stay for this season, and they'll work closer with fans to design a new one for future seasons.
  11. I have no ignore list. Some random fart told me I was on his ignore list once; he was very dull so it was no great loss, but it was good of him to reply to one of my posts to tell me I was on ignore, most helpful and rational. Hopefully I'm on a few more I don't yet know about.
  12. Can't be much of a step down from some tinpot B2B IT company, to be fair.
  13. Grey Goose sponsored the goal of the season award.
  14. Indeed, and Kelvin also I believe.
  15. Next season definitely Palace and Cardiff. Might even go for the holy trinity of all 3 promoted clubs and bung Hull in there.
  16. Biggest criticism is that there's too much white in it. Chuck in a red collar and it might work. Pipe dream anyway; I'm preparing for the idea that we're going to have another cr*p all red outfit, and hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
  17. They'd never have me, I'm too much of a free spirit.
  18. I may or may not know someone who was sat on their table for said dinner
  19. Good work ^^^, got any more from page 4 that can be resurrected?
  20. Has he gone? Ha ha, what a goon. Good riddance to him.
  21. The plot thickens....
  22. If ever there was a name that summed up their product, that was it.
  23. A quick search tells us that DellDays was indeed banned. So I guess its unsurprising that Batman is pretending to not be him.
  24. They weren't main sponsors but kit providers, but Pony effectively did that with us and West Ham by incorporating their "tick" into the design of home and away shirts.
  25. Which part was unprofessional, Mike? "To me he comes across as incredibly bitter". You see, this is quite funny for me; its almost like ten thousand spoons...
