Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on South today in a few minutes....

Cost of seeing saints win the league
Dibden Purlieu Saint replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
Leave Echo boy alone, he seems to be the only person at the paper that seems to care about Saints and tries to keep a 'neutral' perspective on Saints news. In other news, I agree with the OP, but also think it's boring having so many threads saying such similar things. -
I might. I agree, I have had a couple of funny days...
-
Bit harsh, who the **** are you?
-
-
Just out of interest, how do people still know he's contracted to Brighton? He was on loan there, and we don't know the terms of the loan. Alaves know he isn't staying with them, so I think the ball is in their court with releasing him. Oh, and it also means we could/can sign him on a pre-contract, and you don't pay them wages during that time.
-
Bit harsh. Agree with the rest though.
-
Don't worry, I don't think I'll use that phrase for a rather long time (embarrased face thingy)...
-
Nice Stanley! There is no comparison to make, yet.
-
Haha. Yeah, it does seem a little knee jerk I agree (and alluded to earlier in the thread).
-
Sorry, but how does me saying that people should get 0% credit cards amount to me being perfect? Are you trying to hit on me? Being patronised is in the eye of the beholder. If you aren't stupid, then you won't feel patronised. Don't you know that?
-
And I do fully agree with the above.
-
I was literally just musing. Obviously not then. That's my worries over then.
-
Ok, so let me just put these down in no order, but all this has happened over the last few months, and I'm wondering what's going on... - Last day of season, no programmes available, no reasons given. - Liebherr nowhere to be seen on Times rich list. - Season tickets give no option to pay over time, want money up front. Do people get the feeling we may be in fiscal trouble, or is NC trying to prove that you can get worse club to fan communication than Rupert Lowe?
-
Nope, they will liquidate as the buyer will pull out as soon as the administrator sells any players. It means that the administrator will selll off all the assets to retain as much money as possible for the creditors.
-
But this is it, I'm not posh!!!! I will leave it though. If people want to bury their heads in the sand and use this as an excuse to not get a season ticket, that's up to them. There are ways of getting £300 together, even if you have a bad credit rating. It just depends how badly they want to do it. Perhaps they should look at http://www.moneysavingexpert.com to help them sort out their financial situation, or even Citizens Advice Bureau. Either way, we've all had money troubles. I do agree they should have let the fans know earlier so that they could budget for it.
-
Because they can use one of these and it not be an issue: http://www.compareandsave.com/dealfinder/top-10-cards/?aid=1&cid=1&adid=3&groupid=3&keyid=3

Utter crap, I'm sure I've been in far worse situations fiscally than a lot of people on this forum, which is exactly why I feel I have the right to comment
-
Agreed, that would have been better. What's the bet we get a statement explaining the situation sooner rather than later? They do tend to follow what we do on here pretty regularly.
-
I don't live in Dibden Purlieu now, I'm up in London, and that says nothing about me, my wealth (which is still negative equity, I'm sure) or my credit rating. I'm just coming up with alternatives for people.
-
Lowe would never have treated his customers with such contempt Look, they should have let people know earlier, I agree with that, I just don't think it's the massive issue everyone makes of it!
-
What is the difference between buying a credit card and getting it on 0% for 12 months, or doing it through the plan? Nothing, apart from smaller payments on the credit card. I just don't see what the fuss is about. It's changed, so what? Suck it up and stop getting your knickers in a twist.
-
Barclaycard do 0% on ST purchases, irrespective of interest rate.
-
My mistake.
-
Rubbish, credit cards are still easy as hell to get hold off. Try and apply for one and see what they say, don't just sit on here and say it's impossible to get one. And as for the saving thing, everyone know there would be season tickets going on sale this June. Most thought it was April. So surely people would have saved up ready for April?
