Well written, but be very, very careful when accusing a paper of slander, and then publishing it on a forum. As someone who did media law at Uni, you may be digging yourself a hole.

To be fair, I resent that. Dan seems to be a proper Saints fan, and writes well informed, decent articles. I hate the Echo, but he has to deal with an editor with an agenda. Don't criticise him.

Very happy, onwards and upwards. COYR.

Pardew and the season ahead

I agree, some of the play around the box has been excellent. Think people are being a bit harsh. We played passing football the season before, don't know if you noticed. -
Can't please everyone can you though. I think it's decent, and after all, it's only going to ba around a year.

I like it. Surprise surprise, Dune doesn't. Some people really just don't get enough attention at home.

I'm gonna go **** them up. -
Yes they are, which is hurting the crew more and more. And the public have responded well to it, especially when you get Pilots in full regalia serving you tea.

I know quite a few BA members, 2 ex union despatchers (for the strike) and one very senior BA worker, who is working to ensure minimum disruption to plans (very much against the strike), and I have to say I think the strike is inherently wrong. HOWEVER I do support Duncan's RIGHT to argue for the strike, and to be struck off for political reasons is wrong. The other issue is that BA have realised that there are efficiency savings they can make, and I wouldn't be surprised to see some redundancies this year, all made possible for BA by the strike, and the seniors realising further savings can be made on cabin crew. Of course, I don't know this for sure, I am purely speculating, but it really wouldn't surprise me.

Pipe down will you. I'm not saying he didn't do well here, however, he took a team that was 3rd in the table down to 9th. That wasn't what Gibson wanted. He's also had a shedload of money to spend there. By the way, I thought you were one of the dissenters at the fact that we're not in the playoffs. Does that time not count for Pardew? -

Well. Southgate was seen as a very poor manager, but he was still doing a better job, with less money, than WGS. -

Gary O'Neil and Beattie are unrealistic, but why Kitson? Fallen out with Pulis, and was on loan in the Champ last year. Wheater is not the same player he was 2 years ago, and they're spending another year in the Championship under a poor manager. -

Dave Kitson anyone? Probably on high wages though. Sylvain Ebanks-Blake David Wheater Gary O'Neill -
I don't think he was that bad here. The reason we went down was gash players, not necessarily the manager.
-
He's pretty decent. Loads of pace. I would take him.

Daily Mail: "Pardew faces Saints axe"

I was in the Superstore the other day, and a Security Guard ask me if I wanted to know something top secret. I said 'Yes' and he took me out back and showed me a surveillance video of Cortese kicking off after the Huddersfield game for only scoring 5. He then showed me a new shirt with a sash on it and 'Mourinho' on it, which is to be used when he moves here. Don't shoot the messenger! -

Looks like we may well be turning into QPR then... -
The off white would contrast nicely with his rosy red cheeks. I sense I have gone too far.
-
You sick bastard, what is wrong with you?
-
We want a goal scoring midfielder, and Xavi isn't that. Also I can't see him displacing Hammond. Perhaps a cheeky bid for Messi. Was promising a few years ago but seems to have lost his way. Perhaps Pardew could get the best out of him, like Antonio.

Those sash kits people are designing are lush, would definitely buy one! I was hoping for a copy of the Air Florida kit, officially the nicest kit ever (according to an internet poll I once saw). Edit: ****ing blackberry told me it didn't work, hence duplicate post.
