Lots of marginally contradictory reports. However wouldn’t necessarily automatically make the beeb the authority on transfer rumours. Anyway, who cares what stage the transfer is currently in, as long as he’s a saint by the end of the window is what counts!

Do agree that Martin has improved game by game but Fonte has struggled not having a settled partner this term. You can see that once a partneship with Jos started to develop, the Fonte of old was coming back. But options is definately good news!

Morgan sits deep, tackles and builds play with his fluent passing. Chaplow is the all action box to box type we have so been missing lately.

Now that would be one of a very few occassions where you could apply the word SAD at the same time as funny!

If all is finalised, what a window!! So so grateful to cortese and the liebherrs. Remember all those years counting down till the window closes for fear of having our best players picked off at will, now we hope for it to last for hope of star name acquisitions! So pleased right now.
