    Security Token Bug

Well, obviously we cannot guarentee anything, I've seen even vbulletin forums in the past get hacked, not recently, but it has happened. So no, there will be no guarentee that there wont be spyware on here at some point because we can't tell what will happen tomorrow. If you are asking us if WE have put anything there like spyware, I can say 100% that we havent. The cookie you are referring to is to remember your username password etc so you dont have to log in each time, its also used for some other stuff on the forum, im sure if you looked on the vbulletin website you could find out exactly what
  2. We're on a dedicated multicore, multiprocessor server in the states with enough ram and bandwidth to host even the busiest match....
  3. ohh yeah, that did it, except I put the sugar in the fridge and the yogurt in the cupboard
  4. Sugar it is then, brb
  5. Ok, i have some yogurt in the fridge (plain) some fresh strawberries, but whenever i mix them it always just tastes too sour, shall i just chuck some caster sugar in with it or what?
  6. Spend a stressful 2 days trying to sort all this **** out

    Time

Cheapest, if not by any means the quickest, is to take a coach from Victoria. Its about 8 to 10 hours to Antwerp. Cost about £40 a few years back, dont know what it is now tho
  8. I suspect he hasn't read the general announcement we made on the old forum. In a nutshell, for this forum to remain viable for the long term, that means reliable and financially sound, we need to rely on something concrete, and that is subscriptions. Donations and advertising simply do not offer the security in terms of balance sheet that we need.
  9. Well its that or buy some of the main forumers a years supply of valium

    Time

Watch it, missus, I know where you are in 4 weeks... don't want an "accident" do we
  11. Yes because google's advertising model allows them to generate billions of dollars a year through their wealth of traffic. When we're making that sorta money, we might consider going Free again
  12. Can charge you £5 a week if you like?
  13. We don't care, we don't want to get involved with the club doing us favour, we would rather remain completely free of them
  14. Nope, all taken care of mate, we know the finances involved and we know what we need in order to do this, we know who to apply for, how long itll take and what we get for our money. We've been planning this move for the forum for a long time, including all the added benefits of which there are LOADS to be revealed. Essentially Saints Web will become the premier fan website for all the UK.
  15. No, but we are contemplating applying for a licence for text-feed commentry for matchdays... depends on funds
  16. Actually, Granty drew up the documents, I just signed them... I wonder what else I've signed away?
  17. You haven't donated, you've paid a subscription fee to access a service provided by Saints Web Ltd.
  18. Just checked our company docs, can't see you as a director, i think someone must have fucked up... oohh, swear filters not on!
  19. Who is we?
  20. I can tell you that a PROPER server is WAY more than that......
  21. Yes, * 3, I need to reimbuse 2 of them from testing earlier. All admins and mods are expected to pay.
  22. As I have already said, our financial accounts will be available at the end of the accounting year. As for advertising, we've actually no idea, we will know more when we run it.
  23. Our annual accounts will be available at the end of our financial year on companies house. However, a) we need to turn A LOT of those subscribed users into paying ones (remember, we have moved to a MUCH more professional service, including live support at 3am last night when i needed it!) and b) we needed it to be just enough that we felt it would be a deterent to those reoffenders who get banned and just create an account. We looked at how much other paid websites charged and thought that £5 was adequate, and will hopefully cover our server costs.
