  1. Hmmm ,interesting use of the word "we". Think you've just slipped up Dibden. Try harder with your PR plants next time Rupert.
  2. There's a lot of inaccurate re-writing of history there but your last paragraph is what everyone on this site would like to do Jonah. In fact, we'd even help you do it. Really, if you look at the people, the issues, and the dialogue, it could have been an AGM from the Dell in 1997. The fans have moved on but the club never has.
  3. No, none of us found it funny Dibden, it shows the petty and venal attitudes on both sides that cripple the club whilst it dies day by day.
  4. Totally agree Nick but you've got to admit Lowe has to go after today's debacle. He's totally lost the plot and I'm not sure he hasn't lost his marbles. What was he thinking of? Having condemned Chorley (rightly) for that pathetic coin throw, I'm not sure Rupert's fake letter is any better actually.
  5. He needs to tell him to step down now, I think Rupert isn't very well.
  6. I can't stand Lowe either but Stthrober is also saying Rupert has to go and he's a fellow fan. We now need to unite and spell it out nice and clearly so Rupert is under no misapprehension that he's not welcome at our club ever again.
  7. It's all very sad, Exit 2's brilliant bit of computer work has cheered me up a bit though! I think Lowe has lost every single supporter on this site but the key will be some in his proxy losing all faith in him as well after today's debacle. I would hope some of them have said quietly to Rupert "Sorry but that's not on, please step down today before we remove you". Cowen would be a suitable replacement in the short-term. I won't hold my breath.
  8. Well done Danny, not a surprise but Saga has to start when he comes back. JP doesn't think 1-up front is behind the poor results and Rupert doesn't think his wacky, nutcase behaviour makes the AGM into a shameful bearpit - what a surprise. Seriously, I'm beginning to doubt Rupert has all of his marbles intact.
  9. Nearly a brilliant post but this blaming the fans crap is getting daft. It's like blaming Woolworth's shoppers for the fact the company was being run by idiots. One of my friends was spouting off in a taxi once about Perry and his little cartel keeping taxi prices so high and "what a cvunt Perry McMillan is". Then he looked at the name badge - Mr P McMillan. Needless to say he didn't want to be dropped off at his home address!
  10. SAGA the holiday company maybe - well, we've already had Secure Retirement?
  11. Sums up how 95% of us feel Ponty mate. Administration is not the answer but getting rid of this pillock certainly is. Reading home is now "Lowe Out" day. Typical Rupert, sums up the person who put and continues to put PR plants on this site. What kind of idiot does that to paying folk coming through the turnstiles? Seriously, Rupert is even turning into a parody of himself. If Mike Wilde (unlikely) happens to read this, this is YOUR LAST CHANCE to make some amends to us fans for the mess you've played a part in and remove this prat from a role where is clearly out of his depth, rather like the patsy you brought in as a 50p first team coach in the summer.
  12. If anything, there's probably even more of a bunker mentality in SFC's boardroom. Would have made great headlines for the media if Chorley had made a better throw. Says it all that it was 1 or 2p piece though! A £2 would have hurt the old cvnt a lot more. Must stop this, coin throwing isn't funny, not even at Harry Redknapp. Bet the OS article refers to it though.
  13. No worries buddy, wasn't having a pop. Have a good festive period.
  14. Askham would have picked them up and put them in his pocket. Seriously though, Chorley is a plank.
  15. Whilst I don't think JP is the right man for the circumstances, I do feel a bit sorry for him walking into that bearpit!
  16. Football clubs are treated as community organisations you see (but not as charities), even as a PLC. They get an extra bit of room as the Civil Service doesn't like the bad PR of winding up a club. They tend to get painted as the nasties.
  17. LOL! Top post. If McGoldrick was chucking it he'd miss though.
  18. I don't what's wrong with the bloke, he always has to take it too far. Didn't he have a huge kick off with Dave Jones and Jones (allegedly) said something like "Richard, if my kids behaved like you are, I'd send them to bed"?
  19. This is very true - however, football clubs do get a bit more breathing space as not for profit organisations. Trust me, the bank would have put us into admin a long time ago if it wasn't for being a football club. The good news is I'm told - by a source on here I trust - that we don't owe HMRC which is good news as they have really been gunning for clubs post-Leeds.
  20. Thanks Danny. Chorley is an idiot - I mean throwing coins at someone, come on, that's stupid and he's lucky not to have been arrested. Makes it easy for Rupert's PR representatives to dismiss dissent as rabble though. Still Rupert, you know you are in a tough time now, not least with the transfer window looming.
  21. As great as that would be, SCC aren't in great shape financially themselves! They might be able to buy one of the advertising hoardings and that would be about it!
  22. I suspect your analysis might not be too far off sadly, Lowe's bluster was exactly that. Trouble is WC, the club's staff and the fans lose either way. Despite all the arguing at SMS today, we're still insolvent and no further forward. Doesn't inspire confidence at all.
  23. This is very true and didn't help either. No wonder the fans think the major shareholders are utter clowns.
  24. Cheers mate, I know my post could have been taken the wrong way. I just feel that the reverse takeover has always left the club between pillar and post. Lowe did well 1997-2003 and we had some skillfull managers that really helped us through, plus exceptional talents like MLT. Trouble is, Abramovich blew everyone out of the water a bit - not Lowe's fault but that should probably have been the time to have bought out the old guard and brough an investor in to fuel new growth. I don't think he had the cash to do it and it would have been difficult to persaude people to sell at that time as well. The fact that it would have been so difficult stems back to Askham IMO who put pure personal gain ahead of any interest in SFC going forward. I also suspect - but have no evidence - that Secure Retirement wasn't the best deal for SFC ob the table but was the best for Guy Askham and that will be his legacy and that of Wiseman and Richards as well.
  25. Why should he pay 40p a share or indeed anything more than a minimal amount when the organisation is insolvent though? Lowe and Wilde haven't a hope in hell of turning this situation around. I'm not particularly a fan of Crouch but I could just smell Lowe's old "£25m and it's theirs argument". Erm Rupert, it isn't yours to sell?
