No clean sheets this season... We've really shit the bed 😂
-
I don't think it wall be his last game regardless of result
-
Well at least we lasted 20 mins, longer than most thought 👍
-
They clearly don't have an immediate replacement lined up or he would have gone months ago, problem is any positive result against a big club or indeed any club is always a false dawn for Ralph! Today is going to be horrendous a 3-0 defeat would be a huge escape, I can see them easily doing 5 plus

He's had almost four years and one good run aside it's been mediocre at best and absolutely terrible at worst! Aka the villa game and numerous others. In four years he has chopped and changed the team so much doesn't know who the best starters are (I know this season we have lots of new signings) continues to pursue tactics and team selections that don't work and then tells the fans the bad performances we witness are actually good ones!. I just feel we need someone now and the time is right someone with fresh ideas, ideas that can generate that spark again in the new signings and bit of buzz around the club which it has severely lacked for at least two years, I am grateful for his time and efforts here and we did have a few highs along the way but at the end of the day he may not say it but he knows he is the luckiest manager ever to still be in a job!

So she's a man now? 😘
-
Surely the players are just going to down tools for the city game.... Not that that would be anything unusual if the last few few games are anything to go by! Can see the players not giving a f*!k if it's Ralph's last game
-
Do you think they are waiting for Saturday's hammering to announce his departure so it looks less bad on their part after tying all the allegiances to him and the dreaded vote of confidence!
-
It's a 22% win ratio... Crazy
-
After beating Villa in Smith’s final game, Southampton went on to win just six of their next 27 Premier League games and lost nine of their final 12. This season isn’t going much better with five defeats in eight, winning just twice. Eight wins in 35 since beating Villa is terrible form for Hasenhuttl and the Saints, and it could lead to a change in the near future. Shocking reading not sure how any club would feel that's good enough.
-
Cos the club have agreed that he can stay on to put 9 goals past Man city before he's shown his taxi 🤣
-
I really hope we don't pull of some unlikely draw and it delays Ralph's replacement even longer with the owners, we need to act fast and one draw isn't going to mean we suddenly start winning or Ralph has changed his ways
-
Even that wouldn't spur the owners into taking action they can't as they've tied all their allegiances to Ralph

https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/23010309.southampton-reportedly-plan-give-hasenhuttl-time-despite-no-relationship-players/?ref=fbshr Looks like no plans anytime soon to show Ralph his taxi 🚕
-
So do you think we'll wake up tomorrow with Ralph sacked in the papers? I think it's unlucky when they seem to have pledged their allegiance to him regardless of results
-
How much compo will we have to pay ralphy? Maybe he should be paying us compensation lately
-
I believe one of the worst records from winning positions if not the worst! Taking the lead with us equals postponing the inevitable!
-
Who from Sport Republic would pull the plug on R.H?
Mr X replied to Andrew Watson's topic in The Saints
But we've been terrible for ages someone said 15 wins in 67 games.... Why are they suddenly going to see the light now? -
Che is a good support striker we should be utilising his hold up play to release it to a proven goal scorer, Adam Armstrong has the work rate but still unconvinced he has what it takes to step up to this level & now there is even more pressure on him to do so
-
The real question as I see it is why did the club prioritise signing every other position than the striker one? I understand some potential deals fell through but wasn't there a second or even third choice on the shortlist?
-
If as a manager you can survive two 9-0s and the longest winless run then you can survive anything
-
Hope so! Yes I agree the keep it simple philosophy would be a huge improvement
-
If/when Ralph goes it's going to be very tough to coach his philosophy out of these players as we have invested so heavily in his playbook, they don't really know any other way to play & sometimes don't even know his way either!
-
That's the sum of it 3 wins in 27 should not be acceptable by any club yet our club does, grateful for Ralph's time here but his managerial performances have steadily declined and he's had four years now to show where he can take us, not sure he would even get any takers in this league again if he was to lose his job, I think other clubs are well aware of his limitations unpredictability, stubbornness and huge inconsistencies
-
Not one for going back but I seriously think poch could be a good fit for the players we currently have a the club and would get us back on track.... yes maybe a stepping stone again (like any manager would do) but he would have a point to prove, whereas Ralph has nothing to motivate him Would he consider us if the price/fit was right?
