  1. I really hope we don't pull of some unlikely draw and it delays Ralph's replacement even longer with the owners, we need to act fast and one draw isn't going to mean we suddenly start winning or Ralph has changed his ways
  2. Even that wouldn't spur the owners into taking action they can't as they've tied all their allegiances to Ralph
  3. https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/23010309.southampton-reportedly-plan-give-hasenhuttl-time-despite-no-relationship-players/?ref=fbshr Looks like no plans anytime soon to show Ralph his taxi 🚕
  4. So do you think we'll wake up tomorrow with Ralph sacked in the papers? I think it's unlucky when they seem to have pledged their allegiance to him regardless of results
  5. How much compo will we have to pay ralphy? Maybe he should be paying us compensation lately
  6. I believe one of the worst records from winning positions if not the worst! Taking the lead with us equals postponing the inevitable!
  7. But we've been terrible for ages someone said 15 wins in 67 games.... Why are they suddenly going to see the light now?
  8. Che is a good support striker we should be utilising his hold up play to release it to a proven goal scorer, Adam Armstrong has the work rate but still unconvinced he has what it takes to step up to this level & now there is even more pressure on him to do so
  9. The real question as I see it is why did the club prioritise signing every other position than the striker one? I understand some potential deals fell through but wasn't there a second or even third choice on the shortlist?
  10. If as a manager you can survive two 9-0s and the longest winless run then you can survive anything
  11. Hope so! Yes I agree the keep it simple philosophy would be a huge improvement
  12. If/when Ralph goes it's going to be very tough to coach his philosophy out of these players as we have invested so heavily in his playbook, they don't really know any other way to play & sometimes don't even know his way either!
  13. That's the sum of it 3 wins in 27 should not be acceptable by any club yet our club does, grateful for Ralph's time here but his managerial performances have steadily declined and he's had four years now to show where he can take us, not sure he would even get any takers in this league again if he was to lose his job, I think other clubs are well aware of his limitations unpredictability, stubbornness and huge inconsistencies
  14. Not one for going back but I seriously think poch could be a good fit for the players we currently have a the club and would get us back on track.... yes maybe a stepping stone again (like any manager would do) but he would have a point to prove, whereas Ralph has nothing to motivate him Would he consider us if the price/fit was right?
  15. The system which doesn't work
  16. Sports Republic have kind of made a rod for their own backs now.... They can't really go actually it wasn't the coaches... It was Ralph after all... Hence they will stick with him untill they have absolutely no choice...not sure when that choice will be forced upon them.. only huge dissent in the fan base may force their hand if another repeat performance against Everton
  17. Got to love an overcomplicated poll, should have been a simple do you want Ralph to be manager of the club yes or no
  18. It was a horrendous performance no doubt, villa were only marginally better but still managed a goal, literally no one in our team played well & we barely strung two passes together, the villa keeper was literally a spectator! Think most think Ralph's time has come as he's both wildly inconsistent and wildly stubborn and most of the time just plain crazy with the lineups/tactics but don't think SR feel the same or he would have gone ages ago.
  19. Bar another repeat of Friday nights performance I think Ralph is still here to stay he always seems to muster the absolute bare minimum for them not to pull the trigger.... That said it's a very low bar as Ralph wouldn't have survived this long anywhere else that's for sure
  20. Hope you have a spare saying PLEZE LESTER TAKE RALF AWAY! 🤣
  21. Saints extend their failing to win away from home in the Premier League after trailing at half-time to an incredible 104 games Scary stat 🤣
  22. A defence that still hasn't kept many clean sheets think the last one was in the cup ages ago
  23. Redmond wasn't great but think we can all agree no worse than elyonoussi who starts nearly every game
  24. There won't be a change, they accept all Ralph's wild inconsistencies for the occasional narrow win over the top six. He has the safest job in the premier League so no need for him to bust a gut.. all on a 6 million contract
  25. The fact is Ralph has served up ridiculously inconsistent form pretty much since he's been here, one run of form aside (a false dawn of many, which after we went on our worst run of losing ever) he has also overseen our heaviest defeat twice. The owners know this and are happy as the only target is to stay in this league... To us that's success. However last night was in some ways worse than the 9-0's, we simply didn't look like a football team full stop, couldn't put more than two passes together, players looking totally lost, noone even wanting the ball at one point, noone even rallying the team, no grit, no urgency to even get a point.... Like we didn't want to be there and couldn't be bothered... In short a shambles! it's hard to argue that Ralph deserves the job but some will & that's fine. I don't see how a new manager with fresh ideas and talented youngsters available is not the way forward , Ralph seems so stale and stubborn his inability to recognise his own failings even will be our downfall.
