Even if ings did stay which looks unlikely he has maybe two decent seasons in him left tops & we have no one to step up to the table (tella one for the future) any kind of injury to ings exposes just how bad our strike force is we simply have to address it ready for next season, we won't get lucky again. Question is who can we get who's likely to get near ings within our budget?

We are a laughing stock really who else would say that was acceptable? Where else could you keep your job after that, that said we tried tonight & put in a shift it's just frustrating

I think at the moment his strength is playing without fear and always looking to go forward with pace but yes he is a raw talent and not without risk

Bertrand doesn't look like he's enjoying playing for us then again can you blame him could anyone enjoy playing with this team at the moment? Would love any kind of result against the ex saints tonight, they should be way too strong on paper but if we can play with no fear you never know... But if we simply Aim to park the bus and nothing else we will get destroyed against a better attack than Leicester

This seems fair however is RH really better than puel results wise? Or are you talking purely in terms of style?

I think he would probably score more than Theo over a full season and age is on his side... Theo is only worth it as a squad player on cheap wages ie less than half what he was on at Everton

The guy has talent probably more than most in our team but for me ala lemina & obafemi he doesn't work hard enough to show that talent & wouldn't be worth the high wages he would no doubt demand.... Liverpool probably owe us a cheap player seeing as though they have half our team....... Thoughts?

This is key to me, RH simply did the basics last night to allow us to defend us a unit and grind out a result there was nothing revolutionary about it, the real test will be wether he can learn from it or will he revert back to his usual happ hazard approach of tippy tappy backwards passing and mind boggling substitutions

Make no mistake last night was a great defensive performance we showed some grit & didn't just roll over when Leicester equalised. Let's not get carried away till Ralph can prove we can build in it & not another false dawn where we return to no shows in the next game. I would be happy to see KWP vesterguard (should he stay which looks unlikely) salisu & bednarek/Stephens on rotation form a defensive partnership
