And how responsible are they in asessing the suitability of a player to play in the premiership? With overseas players it is always a gamble, who had the final say on whether Gaston and Osvaldo were suited to our style of playing? Agreed thats much more realistic personally i would be ecstatic with with 6th place! and happy anywhere in the top ten. Possibly the season could now be seen as a failure if we don't finish in the top ten? not sure how cortese would react.

Its pretty embarrassing to see people thinking we are going to win the league, we are not even half way through the season we have proved nothing unless we can continue till the end of the season. Granted we are doing better than we could ever hope for at the moment

Agree lallana has the talent but till this season he has been far too lightweight on the ball! MP seems to have installed some strength and determination in him, on his day as proved by today he can be unplayable if your a defender!
