Well at least we've appointed someone with decades of managerial experience, combined with both experience of relegation battles and promotions SR have done good here I feel

This is a very last roll of the dice from sports republic they have to get this one right....... third time lucky maybe! To say the fan base is underwhelmed is an understatement just like Luton with jones, Swansea don't seem too upset to lose him. How exactly will SR save face if they get this wrong to?

I'm hoping that because this deal is taking its time, that we have some other candidates on the shortlist too, and that maybe it's a smokescreen by the club 🤞 Russell Martin doesn't sound enough of an upgrade on Jones and Selles and would be yet another huge gamble! We were prepared to spend 20 million plus on a player why do we not ever seem to invest in a quality manager?

Just like the last two managerial appointments we have entered underwhelming territory once again, Hope I'm proved wrong but Sports Republic really do seem the most clueless owners we've had in some decades, who is making the big decisions at the club and not learning from past mistakes?
