Still going for me 2 year prediction of elimination... in the final :-(

I know many of you won't look at their boards, but they do give an insight as to the way they see things.
Here is a prime example of how they still think they will get away with it.

Now either we're wrong (no chance) or they are (oh yes, belive me;)).
Another one .....

I agree Deep, I think HMRC are being quite vindictive in this 20p is more than they get out of a most administrations and it seems we had agreed to pay more by accepting additional charges. It is them after all that let the balance build up to such an extent.
Most of the money owed to them is because we were paying wages we could afford and therefore couldn't meet the monthly PAYE/NI liability, i'm not making excuses but these players came over here and paid a lot of tax and spent a lot of money in the economy but they didn't use the NHS, or the education system and the country wont be paying for their retirement either.
I actually cannot believe how thick they are. Continuously, dumbfoundingly thick.
Oh, wait. Yes I can.

I set one up a few days back called "Where's Rickie?"

I'm pretty sure you can enter more than one league.
I prefer the FIFA one as it's free but still has prizes for weekly and overall winners.
ah ok, cool - i'll join that as well then!
-
Well, you're not in the Vets squad anyway, but I look forward to renewing the banter around the Pillar of Gay.
But, but... you said... at the SaintsWeb forum match...

Ok, I'm in the Metro League-15 now- but 6 in the Sky Sports one so I might have a chance of winning !
Already going to have to change my Metro team, Nani out of the tournament with injury. What is it with Man Utd players ?
And Chelsea players!

Lungs - I would put you down but:
a - I don't think you're over 30.
b - You never turn up.
a - I bloody well feel like it.
b - I've paid already so I'll be probably be there.
-
To be fair Mints, put me down as a vet. I'm completely crapped out.

Doubtful... not the Hampshire b-anned lot... if they had the nouse not to use Heathrow or Gatwick then I am sure they would also have the brain not to use the local airport!
True. But won't this measure be mirrored up and down the country?
Ah, some'll slip through!

And besides, most of hardcases will need parental supervision to fly, surely?
-
They might be leaving Southampton for connecting flights?
-
Dogsh*t just like you and the fat c*nt Corden.
Spot on.
-
Who is going to be deputy captain now?
Terry, lol

Shame Jagielka isn't fit, because he'd be my first choice to replace Rio.
Likewise. At least we don't have to put up with Rio's "really dumb guy trying to sound intelligent" press conferences.
Merked. Guffaw.

It's a shame we don't have a better more defensive right back, having two players like Lennon and Johnson on the same side of the pitch and they seem to get in the way of eachother where they're both so keen to get forward.
Carragher and Lennon on the right with Cole and Gerrard on the left would provide decent balance and width on both sides, I'm just not sure Carragher is up to it anymore.
You're right about the balance, hence adrian's choice, I suppose.
Gutted about Jagielka - he would have been ideal. Even Micah Richards would have been a better option...

----------Hart
carragher---terry--rio---cole
---------barry
lennon---lampard----j.cole
--------gerrard
------rooney
I put carragher in as he would be ideal to tuck in and provide cover as a 3rd CB as the other attack
Would probably be my side with the exception of Carragher (pure dislike as a player).
However, I see TDD's reasoning - it's always useful to have a player in the backline who can double up as another centre half for both defensive and offensive reasons.

Horrible manager, horrible team, horrible fans.

Cheers guys..
Just for a meeting regarding the forthcoming season for a football team... drink should flow, so of course, it'll be a good little earner for the function room owners :-)
-
Thank you!
-
Howdy.
Is anyone here aware of a place in Southampton that provides a free function room facility? Any recommendations very welcome!
Thanks!

I have to say, we do come across as a bunch of whinging arseholes. That said, the pricing does need to be reviewed by for chrissakes, give the guy a rest. He's been pretty bloody receptive so far so let's just see if he notes the unhappiness and counters it with a suitable offer to the fans.
We should be thankful to have Cortese... or would we rather "Go Wilde" again?
-
Why do the reporters always interview a neighbour that says "he was a nice guy, kept himself to himself" in these circumstances?
yeah, that does come up often, to be fair

Lmao :-o

I think with a better prepared manager Ivory Coast should dispatch of North Korea however I think it could be a potential banana skin for Sven. That said, they'll probably just overpower them eventually. N. Korea/Portugal might be interesting, however...
Fair play to them.
