  1. It’s also nice to see some more level headed stuff on here; it’s all reactionary crybabies on X ‘waaaah gotta go, morals, dignity etc’ Honestly, the people who go on about ‘being moral’ etc on there give me the creeps, big time. It’s almost as if they’re saying it because they’re inwardly morally repugnant themselves or they like to be ‘seen’ as nice people. Weird.
  2. I hope we don’t hang Tonda out to dry before he’s had a chance to talk and give his perspective. At the moment, all we’ve had to go on is a ridiculous media pile on led by the MSM and Boro. I don’t think we should be led by that narrative. If you want to be objective, you have to hear both sides. We’ve only got the testimonies of a narrative driven investigation and line of questioning. I’m not saying he’s not done wrong, I accept that he likely has. I just think it’s far more nuanced and in some respects, might be blown out of proportion. Until then then, I’m going to personally refrain on my judgement. And if Tonda staying means a good chunk of players also do indeed stay, then i’m all for battening down the hatches and creating a siege mentality next season. I don’t mind us being the pantomime villain. Spying aside, for the first time in a long time, we’ve got an edge. A bit of something about us. I’ve enjoyed our shithousery and I’m pretty sure until all this broke, everyone else did too.
  3. I actually don’t mind that, purely for the pantomime villain thing. Love it. Especially considering how righteous and precious oppo fans are. the spying was a step too far but I do like shithousery.
  4. I’ve got this really acute mix of feelings which have definitely ramped up this evening, mainly because I know I would be feeling quite a lot of anticipation and excitement right about now knowing that we would have been going to Wembley tomorrow AND this time tomorrow we could potentially have create the mother of all comebacks. overriding annoyance that boro shouldn’t be there at all keeps sneaking in.
  5. Once again, it all starts adding up… Thank you, I’ll add that to the list!
  6. Bollocks, I thought I found a nugget of gold and instead found a nugget of poo. Ah well, back to digging
  7. Guys, this goes a lot fucking deeper… hold on… I might need to check and double check some stuff
  8. Fuck it, I think I need to serialise all this. If only for an interesting read, if nothing else. From the bits I’ve looked at and the pieces people have contributed here, the rabbit hole is goes deeper than the surface level stuff snippets in the media.
  9. If I do my expose documentary I’ll never be allowed a chicken parmo again. its a big decision to make. 😭
  10. They’re so stupid they wouldn’t have even realised or been able to string a coherent, robust objection I fear.
  11. You do wonder if the ‘boro request to sit in on the ruling’ was just a performative action, with the denial being seen as ‘impartiality at play’
  12. Admitting it did get us a point reduction in each instance. There’s 100% more to this saga though than them randomly stumbling across our analyst and knowing about previous spying missions. Clubs didn’t come forward to them about it but a certain pissed off ex employee did… the same ex employee who tipped Saints off about the lack of security around the Boro training ground. We were morons, irrespective.
  13. Good point haven’t thought of that.
  14. You’d need a real laser focus to see anything worthwhile 😂
  15. Conveniently glossed over by a particular media group, coincidentally.
  16. The stoic performative silence killed us. The Bielsa approach would have been far less damaging.
  17. True, I could. But I you never know whose watching these days 👀
  18. As I’ve said we’ve got to own it ultimately. We fell for it because we were stupid and arrrogant enough to think we’d get away with it. and as I said in my main post: people are your friends … until they decide they’re not. We got turncoated, big time. But Boro’s conduct was abhorrent and they’ve actually benefitted from it.
  19. Fuck it, for those conspiracists who like a deep dive, I might do a timeline and piece it altogether properly, with reports, names etc…
  20. The moment Parsons slithered over to Gibson and admitted it in front of EFL members at the Riverside we were fucked. We potentially could however fuck them up down the line if my summary and suspicions are correct. Wed have to have some compelling evidence, as heightened as my suspicions are they are only that 😂 you can see the dots joining together though…
  21. A lot of this nonsense is from The Sun … from the northeast journo Gary Stonehouse who broke the ‘lack of security’ suspicion and then somehow, 2 days later, says Middlesbrough have ‘new evidence’ and guess who gary works for? The Sun
  22. Yeah, just have to read the NE grotrags - ‘Boro suspect they’ve been spying on other teams as well’ I mean…. Unless they’re tipped off with our movements, and why would they not care to report it during the season if it was the for integrity of football, like they said?
  23. Ultimately, it’s on us. We’ve been doing it and the besmirched ex employee stitched us up, knowing we couldn’t resist. for anyone who might think it was coincidental: - ex employee tips off analyst about the lack of security around their training - we don’t get nearly 30 mins in and he’s ‘spotted’ from the main building - club photographer on hand to take a closeup of Salt - boro security sneak around out of sight of the spy and try to seize him by surprise - boro just happen to be working on certain particulars which they later claim they felt enforced to change because we had spied - Gibbo and NE journos go into overdrive - boro man on board of EFL, board propose expulsion. - ex employee also highlights Ipswich and Oxford to boro - who report it (remember the reports saying boro suspect they’ve been spying on other teams - how the fuck would boro know specifics like that!?), we come clean 4 days later about it. Salt confirms when giving evidence
  24. It’s all performative from these charlatans. This pretend stoic silence. Truth is, they’re not leaders - they just shrivel when any pressure is applied.
