Holy shit I’ve remembered some more! when I was working in Alldays in Hedge End; David Hughes - once again, great guy. His brother is too. Richard Dryden buying a reduced microwave meal, iirc it was sausage and mash I think 😂 Obviously, MLT and James Beattie in Jumpin Jaks. Franny quite a lot, what with me being in the building trade and him a property owner. Jason Dodd - what a voice. Kelvin Davis too, also in my line of work. I remember having quite a few conversations with him - was really surreal him pouring me a coffee and telling me about Pochettino’s pre-seasons 😂

I’ve got a few more off the top of my head from when I lived in Puerto Banus; Trevor Francis, seemed quite sickly then. Jesse Lingard and his mates strolling around looking all bling. John Gregory, also in Banus, having a bit of a party one evening - a nice guy. At one of the beach clubs, David Nugent, Steve Sidwell, Jimmy Bullard and Sean St. Ledger. Didn’t speak to Sidwell or St. Ledger, but did with Nugent and Bullard. Bullard seemed hyperactive. Massive face. David Nugent called me a scummer, but was otherwise friendly. In that same place, Calum Best. What a lovely guy, chatted for ages with him. Strange accent. Bianca Gascoigne was intolerable. Stole quite bit of champagne from our ‘beds’. Proper rude hanger on. Chris Hughton on the main strip. Then two years later, in China town in London. Tons of football teams in all their tracksuits from all around the world during the winter break and sometimes pre season. Can remember some Japanese sides, Dutch, French… … interesting place.

It was weird, like it was caught between real life and cartoons. Terrifying.

Couldn’t give a shit if they’re 20 or 60 accessing my data - I’ve got nothing to hide. Besides, can someone tell me the perfect age to be handing someone’s data? As always, my assumption (having worked for a council) is that the pushback on this is mainly those who are corrupt or dipped into the public purse themselves in one way of another.

I don’t like Reform, I get your points especially the lived experience part - that said, how many politicians these days have that? I’d wager not many and that’s probably a big contributing factor to the mess we’re in. However - I’d personally rather someone like them as opposed to one of the Labour lot, as chances are they’re probably gonna nonce around if they haven’t already. Or appease barbaric cultures. Or line their own pockets. Do anything or stoop to whatever low is required to have some form of power.

The ligue un documentary really shows him as a ‘boss’. The other interviews, if you watch them before the one above can be misleading; he seems a bit awkward, evidently conscious of how he looks and that led me to believe he’d be gobbled up by our knobhead players. Watching the doc, absolutely zero chance of that. He’s a boss. In his environment, he comes alive. I love his honesty and I’m a lot more hopeful now than I was 2 weeks ago.

That was brilliant. The podcasts gave me an impression that he was quite nervous and lacked a bit of confidence. I’d feared he’d be gobbled up by some of the knobheads in our squad. That was the complete opposite in that mini documentary. He’s clearly a leader, with a very human side. Evidently, in that environment, he comes alive. Pleased we have him after the faux Martin nice guy stuff. Will seems absolutely genuine.

When interviewed, he turned it into a redemption arc about him. Now the insufferable prick, is walking round with the trophy, not the team. He lifted it with the team then walked off with it. Hardly anyone else has touched it. Heading to the fans now with it to get his acclaim. How very Christian he is.

I genuinely do like him. What a player too. loved the refs whistle bit too 😂 Would have loved to have had him at Saints as “our cunt”. Would have saved us a ton of goals conceded to him, too. … though somehow we’d have probably turned him into a non goal scoring striker.

I like Vardy. there should be more Vardy’s IMO
