Massive impact, like Peretz and to an extent Larin. He really just epitomises the term ‘good solid footballer’. Wouldn't be adverse to him getting a chance in the Premier League, if we do go up. From what I remember, he never really got a run of games but when he did play, he didn’t look completely out place.

A combination of Bazunu and Still has effectively done us for the autos, which is shame. But on the plus side, I thought this season was a right off so the playoffs potentially is incredible. As for tonight… we’ve demonstrated every version of how to win (and lose) this year. Shoddy performance but gutsy and immensely satisfying. Peretz… incredible.

How many could we have scored if we had Bazunu’s build up from the back though? He got lucky with all those shots this evening and on Saturday. Feel for Gav, he had over 100 world class, unstoppable shots and Peretz gets all his shots right at him.

How? Come on, you said it’s childish. I suspect it’s most likely the following; You cannot accept that (1) it’s a widely held opinion that isn’t same as yours (2) factually, statistically, it might well be true. So, like a lot of people in this world today when they hear something they can’t square mentally they just shut it down with a label - in this instance, “childish”. The irony being, that this exact behaviour is childish in itself.

In what way are comparisons ‘childish‘ - please do explain that. The fact you’re downplaying the influence of having a proper goalkeeper like Peretz in goal is a bit head mental. I would post the Peretz stats but you’ll likely rubbish those two but just like Bazunu, the eye test and statistics don’t lie. We must have gone from the world’s unluckiest goalkeeper to the worlds luckiest. Bazunu was one of the worst goalkeepers many of us have ever seen. He's also statistically been one of the worst, if not the worst against his peers more often than not season on season. There’s a reason for that: He’s not very good.

Absolutely brilliant stuff. I’d love to know how many key contributions Azaz makes per game as even if he has a ‘stinker’, he alway produces 1-2 good chances for the team. Loving Matsuki’s development also. For all his faults, Tonda is now running at about 1.8/1.9 points per game, which would have given us 60-64 points if he’d started the season. Take out Bazunu being retarded, and we’d have been right up if there. All if’s, buts and maybes though. Anyone missing Bazunu’s sublime build up play from the back?
