Dindane is a talented player, but is completely hit 'n' miss.
This sums everything up perfectly for me:
Feel a bit sorry for Dindane now, looks like he was totally misinformed by his "friend"
Dindane, meanwhile, has won 40 caps for the Ivory Coast, and says Chelsea forward Didier Drogba was instrumental in helping him make the move to English football."I'm friends with Didier. I spoke to him on the phone and he said I was making a great choice coming to Pompey," Dindane told Portsmouth's website.

I think the big money approach for Nyron Nosworthy shows a frightening level of intent from the new regime. I can't see Sunderland resisting for too long, especially when Nyron starts making waves in the dressing room if they deny him his dream move.A shot accross the boughs of the rest of the Premier League. There's a new kid in town and good god, they mean business.

I have it on good authority that both Messi and Riquelme have been in Portsmouth locked in talks for the past 3 years.
-
I think we should write him off before he's even signed.
After all, we're the experts.
-
OK Ron, did I read that correctly... it was basically a premonition by Nevil Shute!?!?
Just finished 'Patient Zero' - frickin' awesome. Polished it off in 3 days (or evenings, rather.) I won't go into details, I'll let you all have the fun with that.
I'm liking my post-apocolyptic novels atm, too... 'The One' by Conrad Williams (I think) is the next on my list..

what makes me laugh...on pompey fans-online site...they think markus is selling our crown jewels and asset stripping us...
lol
Looooooooool, there is literally nothing to 'strip us' of.... lmao
And we're the biggest spending club in L1, and currently we've outspent Portsmouth lol.........
Jealousy.... tut tut

LMFAO, ****ing hell, i thought we were a mess.... Portsmouth fans clearly have no idea, do they? They've just been taken over by the only arab without any money, they think Storrie has done a good job for them (note for all you fishies, he was part of the reason the club was criminally overstretched), signing just above average CCC players, trialing L2 players and now they can't sell out their ground - again.
But if you keep sticking your head in the Southsea shingle, I'm sure it'll all work out ok...

Morgan is a quality player as I have said since I first saw him play after he signed. Will one day(perhaps very soon) be a Premiership or top flight european League player, "perhaps" even in the French senior squad. The French Football association rate him very highly hence why he is captain of the under 20 team. The under 21 manager wants him to be playing at a higher level to improve his development. You really have no idea.
And I totally, wholeheartedly agree with you... and I'm a good judge of a player. Schneiderlin is not a CCC or L1 player, it's that simple. His development would be better suited at Arsenal or a top European club. He will play for the full French national side, without a doubt.

they've since made a bid to host World Cup games,
'Details of a base camp for international players and training facilities make up the proposal by the city council hoping to host some games.'
'Portsmouth plan to expand the capacity of Fratton Park to 30,000 before building a new stadium with a 40,000-plus capacity.'
(bbc)
why can't we be a world cup venue, already have training facilities twice as good, literally since we have marchwood and their training ground (wellington), would simply be rewarding an already wealthy club for having consistently poor attendances.
We'll be more in the thoughts of the FA as opposed to Portsmouth - it's all a pipedream, they haven't even laid the first brick of their training ground yet, let alone renovating FP and building a new ground.
-
LOL, they're all gutted Storries going, how misguided can you be?
He's one of the main protagonists that got you into a **** financial situation.
And I see high-level education is alive and well in Portsmouth, too:
"Storie you are a grate man but if u leave the fotball club do soemthing to elp youn peaple from wurkin class backrands cos we need help. Wif yoer monay you orwt to do moar to elp us git jobes and bwring up ar kids, but fanks for winnin us the cup buy sinin good players when scammar fish face were in charge."
-
Storrie been on radio and saying he thought he was completing today and Gaydamac stictched him and sold to Dr
He really is a squinty-eyed odious c u n t, isn't he? He's only angry because his snout is about to be removed from the trough.

I've always thought we were a bunch of ****s.
Have to agree, actually.

The way I see it this now opens the floodgates for Pompey to buy Riquelme and Ribery and stroll back to take their rightful place as League Champions in 2011. After all, they won it in 1943 or something which makes them pretty much part of the big four already.
I totally agree. I think they got 60,000 for Hereford at home last night, too. You can see why they are such a big for the likes of Moekena, Ashikodi and Bopp.
-
I was there and my Mrs. I cant speak for the 14,000 others, though I know no-one else who went personally.
Sure, so it was a 'lie' - fabricating your **** attendances for what underhand purposes?
-
skates did kids for £1 tonight and manged to boost their crowd to 6,000 - expected to be one of their bigger ones this season.,
You'd think with the number of illegitimate feral youths prowling the streets round that way they'd be able to fill the stadium.
6,000 for a Portsmouth home game?!?!?? Never! Portsmuff are the biggest club in the south coast, I know because Corp Ho told me. Portsmuff are the richest club on the south coast, I know this because Corp Ho told me.
So come on then you fish fiddlers, what excuses are you going to come up with for such a poor attendance?
-
Damn, good luck... had terrible experiences with Curry's in the past - after you've bought from them whatever happens afterwards with the product they couldn't give a flying one.

Just watched District 9
I admit, i hadn't heard anything about it, saw an advert on a website and seeing as it was directed by peter jackson i thought why not. And tbh, i am glad i did. Worth watching.
Review
An original and interesting concept.. It's got some good action and sci-fi parts but, the story is what makes this a memorable movie.. Peter Jackson mixed a lot of different styles into one movie (Cloverfield, Doom, Independence Day come to mind..). This movie was nothing like the previews made it out to be. There were various undertones of the "bad or ignorant" judgements past governments have made when it comes to an uknown entity (A round up into concentration camps for example). The worse part is that if Aliens really did come here like the situation in the movie the governments of the world would treat them like that..
(not my words but i couldn't put it any better myself in all honestly)
8/10
Awesome, got that too look forward to.
Might watch Bruno again to put me in the frame of mind (seriously, I love that film... outrageously, errr, outrageous.)

I remember Reading in 05/06 and their ballboys were literally trained to aid the team.... maybe we should actually train ours to do the same?

Sexual Predator for both.......
this much is true.
actually, edit that... 'violent' sexual predator sounds better.

I think you're right there in that people do take it too serious on here and everyone is guilty to some degree of talking bollix, waffle etc etc etc.
With the exception of one or two wakners who cross the line the vast majority of posts/posters on here are fairly innocuous and as you say meeting posters in "real life" can often be a pleasant surprise.
I reckon even sotonjoe isn't the cck he comes across as on here (PS sotonjoe the weather was great;))
I wonder how you'd categorize me, UP.
cyber life - ******?
real life - ******?
perhaps?

Dubai Phil - heard anything about the rumours we have found another middle eastern investor - rumoured to be one of the prince's. To be announced by tomorrow, Al Fahim is leaving the board with Storrie as chairman. Storrie apparently has said its deffo a middle eastern new owner and its not SAF.
Keep dreaming, fish fiddler.

Hahahaha it;s coming lads!!!
