Because people like Askham are weasels who mould into the background in order to keep themselves low-profile, and continue their cash-sucking... good luck with getting that cash now, Guy...

Come on Grimsby.
Bournemouth have continually flouted the rules season after season and their extinction would be just desserts... however, I don't want to see that happen... however much they annoyed me with the constant abuse until they used to waddle up to us, starrey-eyed, shaking their 'save AFCB' buckets..

i wonder if dear lawrie has got his picture back up in the boardroom yet? and who gets the doncaster steam train? i would really like to know the answers to this.

The problem with Southampton is that its populated with Southamptoners, some of which are the most miserable, negative, aggressive, scummy toss-pots it has even been my misfortune to encounter, and thats saying something considering I studied in Manchester..
So true.
I'm looking forward to returing next weekend and catching up with my friends but Southampton is full of knuckle draggers or pretentious ****s. And it COULD HAVE BEEN an amazing city if we'd taken the same initiative Portsmouth Council had and redeveloped Ocean Village, West Quay and other parts of particular interest. What have we got considering out city used to be referred to as 'the gateway to the world?' an pathetic Titanic museum, a pokey tudor house and an aviation museum that would embarass the Wright brothers.
And, to top things off, people actually stop off from cruises here... they walk through the container yard and industrial estate to spend a day sightseeing... although there is nothing to see apart from the 'tourist attractions' above or west quay... and any ****er can go shopping in any big city, a mall isn't really that much of a big deal.
Southampton... could have been a flagship city. could have been...
And...
I wish I had had that experience this weekend, I went back for Saturday and Sunday and was saddended at how soul-less Southampton feels compared to Brighton. It seems every time I go back there is another giant square monstrosity or block of 'luxury flats' but nothing built which you can actually do. This isn't a moan for moanings sake, as I said I was genuinely saddended by how I felt about a place I want to feel proud of.Therein lies the big problem. Flats, flats and more flats on precious land which could have been something far more enterprising. Soulless is correct...

Ince is a gob****e and will be found it in his next appointment, and his next, and next. Paul Tisdale and Paul Simpson would be fine, just fine. Even Holloway would get us up, as would Boothroyd.
-
Surely this article is wrong, after all the club is going to be saved by a load of anorakers shaking buckets about.
Bring on the businessmen, and bring em on quick.
LOL so true.
-
He always did have it... he could have made it in the Prem.
-
Tisdale or Paul Simpson for me.
Can't understand why people rate Ince. He was a gob****e as a player, looked absolutely clueless as a manager...
Boothroyd would be OK too, but I would prefer either of the above two...

Actually, the ST and it's members liked Wilde a lot. So much so that they rolled over and let him tickle Steve Godwin's tummy with the promise of a fan on board.
Lol, true and true. Tickle tickle!

To get his picture re-instated in the boardroom, probably.
LMFAO, so true.

Wasn't to be???? So booting out Pearson and the appointment of the Revolutionary Coaching Set Up was giving it a go and it just wasn't to be.
That decision cost us points on the pitch and ££££££'s off it as attendances fell.
Just wasn't to be:rolleyes:
Keep moving the goalposts Um, no-one will notice....
****ing hell...
..... I'll be a bit clearer. What I meant was that he gave it a go by trying to reduce the clubs debt, that debt, which had ballooned through the appointments of Hone, Dulieu, Crouch, McMenemy, Corbett etc and their rather amusing ways of stabilising the club, attracting investment and giving us a BRIGHT FUTURE. LOL... all of whom you waxed lyrical about in the past, i'm sure. The same people who probably promised you a seat on the board. LOL.
I'm not excusing him of the blame from relegation of the Prem, but I'm not blaming him for the ridiculous, unsustainable transfer fee's and salaries paid in the 2 years he was gone. He was very much swimming against the tide, and that would have been the case for anyone in the chairman's chair for this season.
WONKY EYES THING RIGHT BACK AT YOU, YOU LOON.

I'm split between thinking what a complete twt he is if he really thinks that is the primary reason for people disliking him, wondering if he really is delusional and how lucky we are to be rid of him, wondering whether he is on a deliberate Sundance style wind up or thinking if that's really how he believes many supporters think, then how the hell did we survive so long with that type of attitude.
How did he ever manage to conivnce people that he should come back????
I don't think RL's too far from the truth. He made mistakes, big ones at that but he was never ever going to be accepted by alot of the Saints fans due to his "class", sadly.
Saints would have went under in the summer if he hadn't have came back, and that has come from a reputable source within the club. RL gave it go, but it obviously wasn't to be, the weight of the overexpenditure from 07-08 has come crashing down upon the club's head and now we're all suffering.
Anyway, whatever happens at this club, so be it - you'll all probably still be fighting and squaring up to eachother in a years time, badmouthing the next unfortunate board memberts and forming your spazzy supporter groups and marching around like a group of neanderthal know-alls, hellbent on convincing themselves that we belong in the Premier League.

****, no, don't sell the artwork - we won't be able to afford to pay our hardworking councillors their salaries - and let's face it, they are ever so deserving of their money.
-
To booing of a player who has probably never set foot in Portsmouth was one of the single most moronic things I've ever seen at a football match
LMFAO, but typical of Saints fans - ****ing stupid.
-
Thank god we've got a washed up pop star, a pair of oversized tits and a drummer no-one recognises backing our SoS campaign. For a moment there, I thought we were ****ed.
-
I'm glad I don't debate on this forum anymore, and likewise don't go to games... so many pr1cks on here with double standards.
-
I'm on Photoshop CS3 if need copy?
woah, yes please!!!?!?! thank you thank you thank you!!!
-
Given that Wotte has managed in 3 games what Pearson took 13 to do, I think my spelling is not such a great deal do you Wes?
I just feel for Um Pahars, his nephew and Alpine tonight, oh, and the club historian. They had all written off Wotte before he had warmed the head coaches chair. They must be gutted.
Still a long way to go but despite his apparent dodgy hair, being Dutch and being despised by the players, he hasn't done too badly has he???
LOL, good on ya for pwning UP. He's the first to be trawling through the archives when he's "proven" someone wrong... where are ya UP? I bet you re-adjust your stance to "fair play to Wotte, but he's got to keep us up now"
-
yo stuey... i can try pop round yours tomorrow if its ok with you????
-
ahhhhhhh um, you seem a bit lost not having anything to moan about this eve!!!

Hi Stuey, yes mate, that'd be good if you don't mind sharing the wealth!?!?!
cheers mate
(and thank you iowsaintsfan)

Rain man did have a different kind of intelligence though. I would liken them more to Forrest Gump.
That is true, and I did muse before saying it...
received saints joke already

Sadly, I lol'd.
