What that he can’t play as a holding midfielder? If you played Bernado Silva has a holding midfielder he wouldn’t be very good either that doesn’t mean he isn’t a good player. He’s decent enough in the championship as a sort of advanced midfielder but clearly not and never going to be a premier league player. But you can also argue we've been through multiple styles of manager. We replaced Ralphs high press with Nathan Jones long ball, Selles just tried to copy whatever Pep does, Martin and his possession based philosophy, Juric with his heavy metal whatever that means. 5 managers, 5 different styles, the longest any of them last under SR was just over a year.
