the bookies must have seen the poll on here.

Incorrect. Redmond was signed before he was here, Caceres was a last minute panic out of contract signing because we'd missed out on other signings, IIRC we had a deal agreed with some german defender but he got injured the day before he was due to sign. Boufal was his.
-
Disagree. Before the injuries to Van Dijk and Fonte leaving we had some games where we were very good going forward but he also had to contend with a fixture list which had 6 European games and our first 4 league cup games before Christmas. Plus he’s lost Mane and Pelle from the previous season who scored over half our goals replaced by Redmond and Boufal, but no one ever mentions that. The problem started when we didnt have them and he had to play the Stephens and Yoshida at centre back, they’re mid championship at best as a pair. He had to set up defensively then otherwise we’d have got smashed every week. The situation with Caceres was weird, obviously miles better than both of them but for some reason never played him, can only assume it was something to do with being made/wanting to give stephens a go to prove himself given there was no chance we’d go down that season. the problem is people only talk remember the second half of the season and the Ber Sheeva game, he got that wrong but people don’t ever mention the good games, the mantra Puels team was boring has been said so much it’s become fact. for half of his season here he was without Fonte and Van Dijk, for all of it he was without Mane, Pelle and Wanyama who were our 5 best players from the previous season. The squad had been cut of all its attacking and defensive quality with the exception of Tadic, then Gabiandini came in started on fire and got injured after a few games and was never the same, but again let’s not mention that.

Puel only had them for half the season, for the other half he had Yoshida and Stephens, who are/were awful

I see the large peaceful incidents have been spreading across the West Midlands as well, not just in Leicester.
-
If you don’t know why a striker would be more effective if they weren’t completely isolated for the entire game then I’m afraid I can’t help you.
-
Difference is at wolves and Villa he was completely isolated no one anywhere near him, at Chelsea he had midfielders playing further up the pitch. Plus against Villa particularly our passing forward was awful, how may times did a long ball go harmlessly out of play or through to their keeper? It was dire

and you backed Corbyn so no one is going to listen to your views on what makes a good leader.
-
Very important topic. You’re nothing on here unless you’ve got 10+ reactions to a single post
-
I don’t care, the record books don’t record things like that
-
He’s seems like a massive prick as a bloke but anyone that says he isn’t a good manager or a good fit for us is a little bit mental.
-
He took Spurs to a champions league final. Spurs are a big club but no where near as big as Man United, Liverpool, City with money now, champions league qualification every season is what they should class as a great season, he delivered that most of his time there. That is the next level for them.

I got a post recently that got over 25 laughing emojis. I’ve never seen one with that many before and I believe this to be the greatest achievement of my life.

So it is Ralph’s squad then? Even though you argued the toss earlier it wasn’t 🤣🤣
-
What? If it’s not Ralph’s squad how can West Ham’s squad be David Moyes? Remember you’re the one arguing it’s not the manager squad
-
You want it both ways pal not me. I simply said what’s wrong with a manager who’s taken a team to 7th and 6th and. European semi final with someone else’s squad. Done much better than your hero
-
Indeed. West Ham have finished 7th and 6th plus for to a European semi final losing to eventual winners. We’ve been shite for all but two decent runs in two seasons.
-
It isn’t Moyes squad FFS
-
What’s wrong with Moyes? We could do a lot worse thats the thing about the Brighton fella I bet on Friday not a single person on here would have heard of him, now most of us are nodding in agreement that he’d potentially be a good fit for us. With makes the claims no one could replace Ralph laughable
-
Personally I thought the sacking of Nuno was ridiculous as it wasn’t his team. It won’t be Contis team, does Levy make all the signings there? If so he’s a genius. All hail Daniel Levy 👏👏👏
-
It wasnt Puels team or Pellegrinos team either. I wonder if Bournemouth fans excused Scott Parker for the 9-0 because it’s not his team. Can’t hear too many fans defending Rodgers, it definitely isn’t his team he even went public to say he couldn’t sign the players he wanted. Only poor old £6m a year Ralph had to struggle on with players he definitely didn’t want.
-
How so, it won’t be their squad and like Ralph they’d want better players too. @Lighthouse has already told us this.
-
Oh no I get your point totally. It isn’t Ralph’s squad and never will be because he isn’t single handily responsible for scouting and signing every single player. And of course Ralph would love to have better players, players we couldn’t afford. It’s unfortunate for Ralph that he’s manager of a bottom third premier league club and not Man City then. Poor old Ralph.
