Tomorrow I will setup the Agenda Amnesty thread where SW posters will have the opportunity to admit their agenda in a single thread. IMO this will help for various factions to unite, as their prejudices will be on the table for all to see.

Thats the point - its what they hear from those who have been put out by the new regime. We all know those on here that have links to the old days - and its those who are smearing more than most. Their sources aren't close to the club now which irritates them so they make mountains out of molehills or put out the "he isn't very nice" or "its not a nice place to work" stuff. As long as the Players and Manager are happy then I am happy - I am a fan of the team, not the club offices.

Very true - no reason. But I would take results on the pitch over free parking and a ticket tax is common everywhere. Dark forces persist in the face of progress IMHO.

Question: Would you rather be treated with 'respect' or get successive promotions, have a new training ground built etc with some ruthless abandon for feelings?

Do customers and shareholders of your company moan about parking charges and do you have a customer fanboy on your board?

This sums it up 100% for me, we were lucky to get the Owners and Chairman we did - you only have to look down the road for proof of that. If people don't like it and continue the smears - what is the end game?

See the point you make but these rumours started almost as soon as he took over. As others have said - something was fundamentally wrong at Saints hence going into Admin. NC saw fit to shake it up, if that made people work a bit harder or whatever then thats his choice - as it is the choice of any employee to stay or go. However - despite all these hints and rumours I have yet to hear of one story where someone has actually said something that he has actually done! Apparantly there are loads - and Im sure the local press would be gagging to publish - but nothing... Of course one thing he did was alienate people who got fed all the gossip under previous regimes, and I doubt they didn't like being a "normal fan" anymore. For me this is a discussion aside from the finances, which any fan of course should be aware of and care about. Most of the snipes are not about money anyway...

When your owner/Chariman oversees successive promotions, yet rumour would suggest he is the devil there are clearly darker forces at play - whose interests are served by putting it out there? I don't doubt it is from friends, but what do these friends want to happen? There are many who seem to want rid of Cortese, some very obvious figures - why is that? Because their mate works in an office at Saints and doesn't like it?

Wouldn't agree 100% with that. History and tradition is a vital part of any club - but equally so is the present day.

Good example - hadn't seen that as was at the game. Im not referring to specific individuals but more a group which tends to pass on snippets with little to back it up. As you say - all this stuff about NC interfering with the team - why would he?

To clarify - by dark forces I don't mean Cortese at all, quite the opposite - more the smear campaign that surrounds him and the club, the bits of tittle tattle which nobody ever seems to substantiate at all... Seeing as these still persisted through two successive promotions you wonder who is behind it all? Certain folk on here are clearly fed info by sources they respect, but for what purpose? The club was transformed yet there is always something "wrong". Do they actually believe some of the stuff they repeat? Or are told they have to pass it on so they are kept in the loop?

Reckon if Hughes loses he will go. Although Redknapp has been linked they have an academy coach John Crisp who would also be in with a shout according to a mate of mine.

Theres a lot on this board who seem to like a bit of gossip rather than the actual football. I'm pretty sure a lot of the negative rumours re Saints, Cortese etc come from the same few people who know a few outside sources who are linked to players, or ex players and are fed third hand bits of tittle tattle. The same ones that stopped being 'ITK' once the takeover happened. The same ones that never seem to hear anything positive....or choose to ignore it. Dark forces at work?

LOL - still not explained why the fact they beat us last season automatically means they will this season (no doubt you said) - care to put a wager on it? Say 100quid we win?
