Two years to replace Schneiderlin with someone with similar attributes (if not quality) and we did a poor job. Nobody in midfield to dictate the tempo.

Nothing like that. But not a high energy, pressing side, not a counter attack sode and not a possession based team. Usually a team that uses width well but not today.

What is our style these days? Very hard to determine now.

Only happy when we play to our potential, don't play weird systems and look something like the team that has earned so many plaudits the last 3 years. There are few positives at the moment - only a short time ago we had 5 England Intls and lots of players the fans had an affinity with.

Definitely seem to lack the tempo, energy, aggression & interest this season compared to previous three.

We have good attacking players. Let them play. Sitting back never works out well for us.

Yoshida and Long off at HT. Tadic and Pelle on. Can't just have one threat at PL level.

Too much chopping and changing for me of late. Our best team is pretty ****ing obvious, but we never really play it.

Change the setup at HT.

There are too many players in our lineup who offer no attacking threat. Most teams have 4, we usually have 3 and today just 2. In the PL anyone can score against you at any time so you need to push teams back and be able to give them something to think about.

Is our gameplan hoping Mane can beat 5 men and score on the counter whilst we have 8 or 9 players on the edge of our own area?

Haha Gazza! Seems like they have all the threat. No point in a defensive setup if you give the other team loads of chances. Might as well at least have a threat yourself...

Yoshida having a poor game. Hasn't really deserved a recall since City! Quite lucky to be playing.

In this system that is the outball because there is no attacking width. 3 CBs just not needed against a team with one central striker.

Hope Cedric and Bertrand are able to get forward and be a threat rather than chasing Zaha and Bolasie all game. If they can then it might work, if not we will barely threaten.

He started the prior game against Villa. Its the usual pattern. Today he will come on after 65mins, be average then start the next game.

If we played a side with a keeper of Gazzaniga's track record named in the starting XI we would be licking our lips. He isn't PL quality as proven virtually every time he has played for us.

JWP dropped again then probably will be recalled for the next game after doing nothing as a 65min sub today.

Stek has a toe injury and Pelle knee niggles.
