I agree. Dibling was very comfortable with Russell Martin as his boss. Moyes is an entirely different proposition and is a fiery Jock who wont hold back on any player not performing. Not sure Tyler is ready to play under that kind of manager.

An agent with the player's best interests at heart (I get that they are generally in it for themselves). A decent agent would realise that Dibling isn't ready for a move right now and would be better off signing (or re-negotiating) the contract on the table and having a season with us where he'll play regularly rather than warming the bench of a mid table Premier League side. He's 19 and has already tasted life at Chelsea which he very soon discovered didn't suit him - ok, he was younger then but he doesn't come across as someone who thrives outside his own particular comfort zone.

Agree. It's very hard to quantify what Dibling is worth because you're mainly splashing out on potential rather than something more tangible. Clubs will be wary of spending too big on what would be a bit of a gamble. I think we'll do well to get £35m for him at his current stage of development. Another season with us would be more sensible for the lad in my view but that's for him to decide.

Where would Charles go? He's not good enough for the Premier League and presumably wouldn't want to go to another Championship club which just leaves a move abroad. Same with Downes really.

What you are really saying is that you hope he faces fewer shots so will let less goals in - a competent defence and not being forced to play out from the back does not make him a better 'keeper. He might have improved and we'll likely find out soon.

I'd imagine they'll rotate players to get as many minutes in them as possible so many of their potential first team will likely be on the pitch at some stage much as most sides treat pre-season friendlies.

Ryan is very vocal - not surprising being an Aussie. There's a video of him during lock down playing for Arsenal at Villa Park when on loan from Brighton - there's a mic picking up all his shouts, commands etc and he certainly helps his defenders which is something we've not had for a while. He'd probably put a few well aimed rockets up some arses where necessary. Seems a decent shot stopper with loads of experience so might be worth a shout.
