  1. Not doing himself any favours, very petty. He may not like how they played but the fact of the matter is they took the 3 points so a quick hand shake was all that was required rather than a juvenile snub. None of us like losing but he should be big enough to take it on the chin.
  2. It's not the first time he's got into verbals with fans. He should be rising above it not taking the bait.
  3. Players or managers who read fans forums are daft. They must know that what they'll read is dependent on the most recent results and that goes for any club in the country. If they are offended or disappointed by forum content the answer is simple - don't read them.
  4. To lose 2 home games on the trot at this stage of the season when in a race for an automatic promotion spot is a pretty poor show from RM and the players. All the hard work during the unbeaten run has been tossed away. It's too easy to blame it on the loss of Downes. We should have a team selection and method of playing in place to cope with the loss of any player. As we've seen we don't have which is a very big flaw for a team going all out for promotion. Unprofessional doesn't even begin to cover it.
  5. Yes, it's likely they'll play a number of reserves and get the game won then take a breather so doubt it'll be anything approaching 9-0....fingers crossed.
  6. After the 3 recent defeats alarm bells are ringing because team selection, use of subs, lack of motivation and limited tactics have been root causes imo.
  7. Wednesday will give us a good idea how decent or hopeless Lumley is because he is likely to be busy.
  8. Exactly and, in doing so, a well oiled machine has become a clapped out jalopy.
  9. But the style of football remained the same predictable stuff.
  10. Maybe to do with Jason Wilcox.
  11. He could always change the tactics. Maybe come up with a surprise or two rather than being predictable.
  12. Why say that, makes no sense and sends out the wrong message. He can play as strong a side as he likes because we are staying in the play-off places. Why not say he's looking forward to setting a team up against one of the best around?
  13. I think one of his problems is he seems to want to be best mates with every player. That's not a healthy way to operate when you have players to manage - they are not your mates Russ.
  14. Might as well put out our best side against Liverpool because we aint getting an automatic spot and the play-off position is sealed. Nothing to rest players for now.
  15. Speaks volumes.
  16. I think we're all scratching our heads at how we can go on a such long run undefeated then suddenly can't beat an egg.
  17. Lots of good points here.
  18. Seems Russ has been rumbled and he is perhaps a one-trick pony. Haven't seen any signs of us trying anything other than the walking football with passes going sideways and backwards just to make sure we retain the ball. We sang his praises during the long unbeaten run and rightly so but the sign of a good coach is what he does when adversity comes knocking. Well, not much is clearly the answer.
  19. Just to put this result in perspective they have 1 point from their 8 previous games including a 2-0 loss at home to Sheff Wed.
  20. A decent coach might have more success pitting his wits against a defence consisting of 3 lumps at CB. It's hardly rocket science. Quite damning really.
  21. I think next year will be worse than dreadful if we do go up. We are not ready to mix it in the Prem and far from it.
  22. Good job we are 15 points clear of 7th.
  23. For me it's all about the intent shown at the start of a game. Start fast and that sets the tone. Start slowly as we have done lately and you get what you deserve. That's down to RM and his staff I'm afraid.
  24. Brizzle and Hull we could just about accept but this one is gonna hurt because they are shite.
