Too right. Even SAF and man utd win another title, it's a case of 'right, that was yesterday, onto the next one'. Never standing still. And yes, I'd love to see another MLT come through. He may be our greatest player ever, but that does not mean he cannot be usurped. Your history, good or bad, should not define your future. It's about striving to be the best you can every day, and in doing that you will hopefully leave an even better history behind.

Does Matt not have an agent or any advisors? If he hasn't, he should get one, and if he has, he should replace them cos, sadly, he's making some poor decisions.

Well, then the implication is that he's fouled up for being 'open' when it's not about him being open, its about him not talking about what he, apparently, agreed not to talk about. All he had to say was 'sorry, I can't discuss that at the moment'.

Can't you? He's saying 'I must learn not to be so open in a fans Q&A session', which is to say 'it's a Q&A, what am I supposed to do, not say anything?'.

Even this is a typical sarky comment from Matt. This is a serious issue, he needs to grow up a bit. I'm surprised he hasn't said 'NC, you smell' yet.

According to the statement, Matt is considered as nothing more than a fan now. Let's hope he can support the club now. It'd be nice if he started this Saturday on sky by refusing to comment on this, and, in fact, asking jeff respectfully, to not comment on it either.

That's probably a better explanation. I've always taken it as an unwarranted and derogatory term for a Saints fan that doesn't go very often (for whatever reason), or even at all, but the fact that they may not even be there for Saints but for the 'prem league action' hadn't occurred to me.
