  1. I'd go for Deontay Wilder, he'll pull no punches
  2. eurgh double post
  3. Given he hasn't managed in Zambia and Armenian leagues my knowledge is superficial but I followed his progress last year at leipzig as there were quite a few articles on what a great job he was doing after jesse marsch had got the sack. That led me to today when i saw the free managers to searching around on the net and found this video on his tactics at schalke by Tifo on his tactics
  4. Some nice names on this list but most possible i would guess is Tedesco who was sacked by RB leipzeg for a bad start after taking them to their 1st silverware last season after taking over from Marsch. https://www.transfermarkt.com/trainer/verfuegbaretrainer/statistik
  5. Concur with this and what everyone on this forum has been saying for months, we needed a proven striker to come in. No manager can turn Che/Armstrong into a clinical pairing. Ralph let himself down with playing Moi for 7 games straight when everyone could see it wasnt working.
  6. There goes his chance then.
  7. Article basically says, he has poor management skills with the players and some told the board that there should be a change last season. They thought there might of been a change after villa game but Ralph is on borrowed time, club have been maintaining relationships with other managers and quite a lot was mentioned about Ralph's demeanour in the 2nd half on sat, looking detached and dejected etc when he is usually going great guns. Some players also think his touchline antics are annoying. Basically the players who have been here longest are complaining the most, they also find when we are shit he communicates even less with them. Ralph has always had a communication issue, I just don't know why he hasn't tried to solve it.
  8. If you think thats bad, in his last 3 games he's scored more goals 9 that our entire team has (8) for the entire season.
  9. I want someone who makes us win games and i'll take Cruyff's view on it over yours. 3-4-2-1 is a variation of the 3-4-3 shape, a highly attack-minded formation first developed by tactical mastermind and pioneer of Dutch 'Total Football' Johan Cruyff. It's made up of 3 central defenders, 4 midfielders, 2 inside forwards, and 1 central striker, often with a real emphasis on offensive play. https://jobsinfootball.com/blog/tactics/3-4-2-1-formation/
  10. Looks interesting and already managed red bulls feeder club in austria liefering https://theanalyst.com/eu/2022/01/bo-svensson-gatecrashing-the-bundesliga/
  11. Also Selles I guess would work well with Sampoli
  12. This - been touting Sampaoli since his chile days when he did amazing things with Universidad - I think i did a big tactical post on here about him like 8yrs ago, let me see if I can find it. “We believe you have to play football thinking about the opponent’s goal more than your own,” “You pick players to attack, you form them to defend.” Jorge Sampoli Article i posted in 2014 - https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1894861-tighes-2014-world-cup-tactics-board-analysing-jorge-sampaolis-chile Edit - cant find the tactical report (unless someone can show me a seach function on this forum as have 250 pages of posts) but did find this tactical link from 2014 Also you have got me excited again, if we sacked ralph and got jorge in I'd be stoked.
  13. Am sure it would be a combined decision like any board.
  14. We have average strikers who aren't really ever given any enough good chances from our wide players or midfielders to score - would guess 1 out of 3 good chances for a goal. We need an striker whose clinical like ings or our midfielders need to be creating a lot better chances for our average strikers. As an aside I thought DCC had a good first game yesterday, some passes went astray in the 1st half but seems very composed and was shouting at ABK to push up etc. Thought KWP and Larios stood off their men too much yesterday, KWP especially is not busting a gut to stop crosses in again.
  15. Unless anyone has ordered him to be shit all season I think he's just having a come down after last seasons heroics
  16. 2nd game in a row not being able to pass to each other v Villa and bloody Everton. I give up.
  17. Pick from 30 when you scroll down the page https://soccerstreams100.io/event/eng-1/everton-at-southampton-live-soccer-streams/637902
  18. Am hyped for this team, i smell goals, who for is yet to be determined but this is ralph finally pulling out a team that is more offensive rather than focusing on containing the other team.
  19. One thing I definitely think we can hold against either Ralph or this system is that we have never been free scoring. It's always "we will work on this" etc when it's brought up but it's really hard to have any confidence over the years that we go behind we can get back into the game. Not sure if Leeds and Lecister were flukes and Villa was a return to the norm but I expect a lot from today to show me which path we are on. Expect a 6-0 from us now.
  20. You had me until here hahaha
  21. I know I had to re-read it to make sure it was still a joke and I hadnt got it wrong hahahaha
  22. You never know, the gulf states might see the this combined with all the other bad press they've all had regarding workers rights etc and change, or I'd at least hope they would. Its a joke as well, as soon as the workers sign the contract, they are in debt to the company due to travel/training expenses etc and have to work at least a certain period of time to get back to 0 let alone visit home. Would add Singapore does this model as well - import workers cheaply from somewhere else.
  23. To be honest this isn't a gimmick from hummel they take this stuff seriously and have done for years, i think it makes a nice change that someone actually stands for something that isn't in their best interests in football. https://www.hummel.net/companykarma-home.html
  24. Sounds like how this guy sets up his teams
  25. Really nice article mate, it really does highlight our weakness with good stats for what i feel has been evident ever since we lost Tadic. If we had got Gakpo who knows what would happen but i know he is a killer off the left with goals and assists so would of expected a big impact on our team.
