  1. Thanks - I think I had the airport as the travel from/to - hence the earlier last train. The train remains an option.....assuming we are not held back after the final whistle :-)
  2. Not thinking too far ahead (as I don't yet qualify) but the last train I could see listed leaves 20 minutes after the final whistle, and it is a 45 minute walk from the ground. So, this sounds a great idea for those travelling from Tel Aviv by train
  3. If the allocation has not sold out in the 4 confirmed windows, do you think the next window will open Saturday morning with fans travelling up to arsenal or re-open Monday?
  4. 10% sold within 30 minutes of going on sale. You are the bearer of bad news :-(
  5. An honourable mention for Chis Nicholl. Playing 4-2-4 (MLT, Shearer, Rideout, Wallace). The heady days of standing on the under east terrace. I think he also achieved a 6th place finish too.
  6. Unless you happen to share the same first (& any middle) name and you look uncannily the same, despite the age difference, then you are right. You can't use someone else's photo I'd (passport or EU photo drivers licence
  7. Although I ultimately fell foul of this last season, and dipped out on a Midtjylland ticket, it is the fair way of doing it. This is the only one I am guaranteed to get a ticket for as I didn't ''officially' go Midtjylland and don't quite meet the 14 away criteria from 15/16.
  8. I thought it was 3 (admittedly still not that many)? I missed out in the free for all at the end. Have 11 this time around but likely to only get tickets for Inter and I could have 3 again and still get an Inter ticket due to the size of the ground! Ah well!
  9. Although it is high likely that the exact same priority scheme will be in place for Prague as the allocations are practically the same. The number of away credits required will still be around the 10+ mark.
  10. Diego Rolan appears to be 5ft 11ins. His goal-scoring record for Bordeaux looks fairly decent over the past 2 full seasons and he has started this with a couple already it seems. His international record needs to be take into consideration that he is behind Suarez, Cavani & Abel Hernandez. This seems an interesting name to hit so late in the window
  11. I'm actually wondering if the number of tickets they are proposing on giving/allowing has rendered any club travel package useless, esp as so many saints fans appear to have booked the trip independently to Israel. I think I read that Celtic were only given c.200 tickets. Such a number would end any plans for a club package
  12. I'm waiting for the 3rd signing le Goddard said we were looking to complete. Taylor was the uninspiring one he mentioned, plus boufal. Initially thought this would be a striker, but I'm pleased Jay is looking better & fitter, meaning he'll hopefully stay and not go on loan.
  13. Franck Kessie would be interesting, though I rather suspect any late transfer we happen to make in that area is going to be more of a starter. This lad has big potential and fits our profile to a tee. However, I can just see the reaction if he is the only one signed in the next 2 days.
  14. But, but, but no one has heard of him and he plays for Empoli! I mean Empoli! Come on! We are being taken for a ride here. As a club and as fans. No other club would be so stupid. And he is no pelle/Vic replacement. Disastrous transfer window
  15. Although the time zone in Africa is min +1, so 8pm our time is getting towards bedtime come the 90th minute when they squeak a late goal :-)
  16. Capacity for Sparta Prague is not that good. May be 1000 away allocation ?? Milan first would be the ideal for most due to allocation, travel, accommodation.....
  17. If that is applied to all groups again this season then teams allotted 1 or 3 also play the first match away too (at least that was the case from what I can tell last season) Then, either match days 2 & 3 or 4 & 5 are back to back home matches if allotted place 1 or 3 (I.e AHHAHA or AHAHHA)
  18. A quick scan of any thread on here would show that there are plenty of people who don't understand an awful lot. Full stop. It is this week's "category two, three or four club" or hang up with the "diamond". All highlight more what is clearly not know, then what is.
  19. The all important issue is the number in the group we are assigned and what that means to when we play which opponent. Knowledge is power! :-)
  20. I hope this is not the case as despite going to 12 away matches last season, under your criteria I would not qualify for a ticket as I was unable to make vitesse.
  21. The specific mention of midtyjlland makes me think that the ticketing debacle around Vitesse will be discounted, given many ST holders didn't actually attend. I think the 500 who went to Denmark are guaranteed, then it will go to last season's away matches. Some of the criteria for high demand matches last year make me think the average fan attends around 7 away matches a season
  22. Interesting footnote about Midtyjlland tickets from last season. Hopefully, first up is not away to the 4th seed team (assuming it is not us) with a small stadium capacity. Missed out on an official ticket last season due to a friend having used my mate's customer number, rather than mine West Ham away the season before last. Ended up in the block next to the Saints fans.
  23. What difference would it make? You would moan and gripe either way. You always have to find a negative. It is what feeds you. If there was ever really good news you would shrivel up and disappear (whistles "when you wish upon a star" to one self)
  24. You have conducted a thorough poll fans, have you? Please speak only for yourself. Any frustration & disappointment. I may have is with the likes of you.
  25. Would Tomkins & Mandanda (townsend, maybe) be happy with a place on the bench at saints as they would not walk into our starting 11?
