  1. Ha ha didnt notice that!!!
  2. was really good actually, what a last lap!
  3. If/when our waterfront is developed (centenary quay and royal peer) both of which I like, we should still try and do somthing about western flats!! I think the arguement for trying to stop this is that it is completely unfair and alot of jobs rely on the cruse industry as well as the potential for more jobs if the new terminal got built. Liverpool clearly want to take as much business as possible which is like in any competition but to fund a rival to take business away with public money is plain wrong, that is not a level playing field and will put off private investors, all I ask is that they should pay back all the money. I have done what I can really filling out the public consultation which must be the most important, signing the petition and I have even printed the template letter of rejection. If anyone else wants to, here is a link to an echo article with link on to help.
  4. Argree, there is still alot that is not understood even photosynthsis (sorry for the spelling) in plants is not fully understood at quantom level. I like to think I am rational but would, even if as a placebo get help off someone who can help. You have a child and should do everything you can to protect him, regardless of what you believe in. I am not religious and have my reasons but know that in the greater picture if stuff I know **** all. I really hope you sort it, write back what happens to help would you and let your boy stay in your room cos if it was me as a young boy I'd be ****ting myself!!! Good luck
  5. Your a tit for doing a Ouja board, I dont get involved in all that stuff but remember when I was a kid my mum and dad were adament that it was something you just dont touch, I never really listened to them at the time being a teenager but somehow I just got that feeling it was not worth it, leave it to the goths! Look if I were you I'd swallow my pride and get in whoever can help, I have heard that a vicar can actually bless a house so if you dont want to talk to spook people you have another option maybe. Good luck, feel bad for your 3 year old and because of that think you should sort it. COYS
  6. Just got in from work, mate told me he went and was talking to Fox, nice guy and when asked about J Rod he said he also did want to come but didnt want to hand in a transfer request because he is from the area, apperently we did have an offer accepted but a quarter to it was to late but we can expect some top loans after the prem teams sort out their squads so that they know who they can loan as loans cant go to other prem club. Love my football but dont know how true anything maybe, just letting you know what I was told. FWIW I love the squad we have and well excited about the rest of the season COYS

  8. Liverpool looks much better mainly because of the extra money they get re-developing the city, I actually feel Southampton has more potential, with watermark west key (next to the walls), Cultural quarter (which I actually think looks much better), Spitfire tribute on its way as well as the New Forest, Salisbury, Winchester, and Portsmouth close as well as London we offer a much better location. Regardless I do believe in competition but on a level playing field, this grant was given with specific clauses for a reason. If they want to use it for turnaround business and it is finantially viable then they can pay back the money. Dident Fred Alson cruises pull out of Liverpool the the tides/unsafe sailing or something?
  9. Signed and getting my family to do it as well. Come on fair competition please Liverpool already get enought state aid/re-development funding and then say how much better it is. I love Southampton and the frinds I have here, alot of money comes from the cruse industry. Competition is good but only when fair. COYS
  10. Kids find moving difficult no matter how good a place is. I remember moving from Andover to Winchester I was well upset but then I found out over a short period of time that you adjust, and love it. I live in Southampton now and like before I have made it my home. Good luck
  11. I hope Connolly starts, he's our best Striker.
  12. Actually there are places to avoid (the big estates with a reputation) but all the suburbs are a mix and you do really need to look around. Like someone said most on totton is very nice and they would probably say not over the bridge. I have to say you get more for your money here and if you take the time to look at upkeep of other houses it should be a good indicator of area. Southampton is a very nice place to live, Ive lived in Andover, Winchester, Portsmouth, Sailsbury, Tidworth, as well as short stints in Hull (hell), Chester, Glasgow, London. Winchester was top but Southampton although completely different is a very close second.
  13. Nice area's I would say in Southampton would include; Highfield, as well as around the common, ocean village, bit's of bittern, swaythling, shirley, woolston is going though a large development. I would say don't move to Thornhill, Shirley warren, Lordshill, Millbrook, and Western. Southampton is more or a mix to be fair I live in Woolston and been here 3 years and although not a 'posh' area, the people around are really nice and therefore a nice place to live. Outside of Southampton there are loads of nice places I'd avoid parts of Eastleigh though and maybe part of Totton. Good Luck, I genuinly love living here and have lived in quite a few places, you still get complete idiots here like anywhere but plenty of people you meet are generelly very nice.

  19. Well it is now a pulic consultation (plese fill this out) and liverpool seem very confident and have drawn up a plan to expand it with another 10 milion of public funding! Govenment does many things that I do not agree with and this being one. I really hope you are right. Fair play to compition but there does need to be a level playing field.
  20. You should really fill in the public consultation then, your right its not right. Bastards! What did you tweet her?
  21. Just heard they will not build the new terminal in southampton if Liverpool gets there unfair advantage. Plus Liverpool asking for another 10 million of public money to help them take our business away. This could affect many jobs from taxi drivers to direct employees from Southampton (which I know a few) to people that work on the dock. Please fill in the consultation document and e-mail it back, its really easy.
  22. Bart for me
  23. Thought the crowd was quite good
