  1. I watched all the rozzers on the BBC website. They got a serious grilling and Hayman made Dellboy Totter look kosher! Clarke looked composed and answered everything in a honest and open manner.
  2. Why do some of our neo-con posters see this as left v right? I don't get that at all. It's simply right v wrong. It's a chance for all politicians of all shade to break free from the undemocratic grip of NI and we should all be pleased about that.
  3. MM has been ordered to shed a dozen players. Halford was one of those.
  4. Well thought out response.
  5. But you're a Liberal. We established that yesterday.
  6. They paid £250k. As my oppo who works at Wolves said "we would have even paid his taxi".
  7. You're not alone there. I've already told my nipper that there is no chance of me shelling out if/when we get back to the EPL. I just couldn't justify it.
  8. Let's see how brave the modern career politicians are. Will they have the balls to break with NI? For 30 years they've been at his beck and call.
  9. I don't think anyone minds conviction politicians of any ilk and most would agree that parliament is screaming out for them. I've no love for the tories or the Goldsmiths but Zac's standpoint regarding NI has been refreshing.
  10. Watched Diary of a Wimpy Kid with my nipper. Got to say, one of the best kids films I've seen. Watched Animal Kingdom last night. Now that is a seriously good film. Also found Adjustment Bureau and easy watch.
  11. I've noticed in the Copa America and the MLS then ref's have been using small cans of spray foam to mark the place where the free kick is to be taken from and then pacing out 10yds and marking the pitch to stop encroachment. The foam disappears after 10secs or so. Great idea IMHO.
  12. So Bernard Ingham, press secretary to the PM, wasn't a spin doctor?
  13. But you were talking about individual responsibility and that costs nothing.
  14. Yes. Did you know they sorted the bail law in 5 days? Repeal of legislation can be done very quickly.
  15. Ingham sat in cabinet, Thatchers version of Campbell. Satchi was part of "machine" and reported directly to Ingham and in turn, Thatcher. Ingham was as much a sh*t as Campbell. Blair learnt from Thatcher and kissed Murdochs @rse and employed the exact same tactics that the tories had used and it won him three elections.
  16. But Dave said he'd do it and he hasn't. Clearly a Liberal Elite conspiracy to oppress us all.
  17. So what do you think that Sacchi and Sacchi, along with Bernard Ingham were doing if not spinning? You don't think they all sat down together and worked out how to spin the press and got into bed with Murdock? That it just happened? That they didn't use focus groups and worked on "the message"? It didn't all begin in 1997.
  18. I thought we established earlier that you've a paid up member. In fact, you're more liberal than me!
  19. So they are as bad, if not worse than those loony lefties because they have the power to roll back the evil nature of the laws and have chosen not to. My god, they must be lefties!
  20. The Greeks have to pay for kindness, good manners, decency and responsibility? The IMF certainly do drive a hard bargain.
  21. Serg', you always strike me as a decent sort of chap but please, you're out of your depth and, embarrassingly, it shows.
  22. I'm sorry. Are you saying that these attributes have to be bought and paid for?
  23. This does appear to all be very confusing for you. Perhaps you should google Sacchi & Sacchi and then re-evaluate your post.
  24. And you my dear chap fail to understand that common decency, manners, kindness and responsibility are nothing to do with wealth or standards of living. When that penny finally drops then it will balance the other chip out.
