I'm sure Peterborough would be a far nicer and more prosperous city with no immigration. You'd be able to sleep safe in the knowledge that no one was going to cut your throat in the night or eat the swans.

I can imagine. We have a group, similar to yours, opposite (behind) us. Good as gold and happy to move cars as they know whose spaces are whose. The did ask if they could use them during the day when we are out, which obviously isn't an issue.

My next door neighbours are Slovak. I nicer couple you couldn't wish to meet (their two lads are playing footy with my nipper in the garden at the mo). He works permanent nights at a big distribution centre and she works days at Alton Towers hotel. Their kids speak almost perfect English, they have a nice house (and in Slovakia as well) and have no intention of ever going back. How any sensible, sane person (those who are short in stature or IQ are exempted) can have an issue with them due to them being foreign is beyond me. Then again, I'm not a small minded bigot.

Last year the council closed the roads, supplied the facilities etc. What they wouldn't do is pay £10k for policing that West Mids police insisted upon after the BNP had attempted to hijack events in '08 which caused no end of mither. That was from 2009. This year, as per every year, the parade is being paid for, organised and supported by the local authority. This year to the tune of £40k. The posters are all over the borough and council staff are organising the events and staff are working on the day unpaid. Still, the BNP site says differently so they must be right. Again, you are shown up to be a clueless bigot.

I work in Sandwell and it's being organised and run by the local authority as it is every year as dozens of roads are shut and Dartmouth Park is used as the end point and only the local authority is big enough to organise it all.
