  1. Investment banks, the gamblers in sub-prime etc. hedge fund who need instability to function. These are people that caused the crash and the people who ultimately profited from it. Poster on here who worked for bank of New York at the time said to me (2008) that if you can't get rich over the next 5 years you're in the wrong business.
  2. It really wasn't.
  3. If the tories had gone after the bankers who caused the crash and the companies that avoid paying tax they'd have won this election easily. They didn't, they hammered the poor instead and branded them scroungers and feckless.
  4. Which will amount to naff all. The tories will never upset big business which is why any referendum on the EU will be a farce.
  5. How dare you suggest such an outrageous thing!

  7. What utter bol loxs. It's just bullsh_it like the tory press's front pages so stop being such a delicate flower.
  8. We are riding up in the Trough of Bowland at 1/2 term I believe.
  9. Despite being a proud mush I love living up north. Stunning countryside on the doorstep for cycling, good people, great cities such as Manchester up the road, decent infrastructure and for the average bloke a good standard of living can be had leaving plenty of coin in the pocket. The only downside of where I currently live is being away from the sea.
  10. Disagree. It's been aimed squarely at the floating voter who has been impacted by cuts. It's been a shrewd message and been hard for the tories to counter.
  11. Tory minority government and another election before Xmas.
  12. Bol_loxs to riding in central London, it's a free for all. Us roadies have no fear because if we did we couldn't do it. Hitting nearly 60mph going down past The Roaches off the Peak District can't be done if you're scared. Even after splitting my face open I was back on the bike as soon as my right hand could operate the break and shifter.
  13. It's called being "culturally sensitive". I call it utter bullsh_it.
  14. Where as you're so busy in the pub to know what your old lady is up to.
  15. Surprised you're back from the pub. I have a problem whoever or wherever it is. It's wrong plain and simple.
  16. It is and pandering to it for the sake of votes is plain wrong no matter what party is involved.
  17. You're trying to tell me the other parties wouldn't have done the same? Course they would, they'll all do whatever they can to get elected. Pandering to the Muslim vote in this way really pis_ses me off but make no mistake, they'd all do it if they thought votes were in it.
  18. Shock horror, who would have guessed. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/generalelection/general-election-2015-tory-election-chief-lynton-crosbys-firm-planned-to-expand-role-of-private-healthcare-in-the-uk-10223112.html
  19. LOL at UKIP for contacting the police over HIGNFY.

  23. It's certainly becoming much more prevalent. Makes me want to weep some of the states some of the youngsters are in through no fault of their own.
