  1. I'm looking at putting a Choir together for home games. The plan is to perform selected chart hits throughout the game. We are currently working on a wonderful version of Olive's 'You're Not Alone' and White Town's 'Your Woman'. You are more than welcome to come and sing with us.

  2. any ideas..?

now we have a few new players..who would you say would be our best 11 and in what formation..

    for me..

    --------------------Davis

    Murty--------Fonte--------Jaidi--------Harding

    --------Hammond---------Morgan

    Waigo-----------------------------Puncheon

    ----------------Lallana

    ---------------Lambert

subs..bart, seaborne, mills, james, antonio, connolly, barnard

but then, would we be better in a 442 with barnard/connolly with lambert...but then what about lallana in that..?

    hmmmmmm

How can this be our best 11 when Puncheon hasn't even started a game for us?

  3. I see Danns got both goals in Palace's 2-0 win today, not that it makes the slightest bit of difference. Just thought I'd throw that useless bit of information into the mix as everybody else seems to be at it.

  4. The ground, however, was alright. Despite being half finished, I can imagine it being a good ground to go to if there was a capacity crowd, there was comfy seats (not that they were needed) and plenty of leg room... It's a good ground, just a shame MKD don't have the support to fill it.

I recently read something about the ground. They've left the top tier out until they get promoted and start to attract bigger crowds - lol. The local paper in MK reported that they are hoping Tottenham will re-develop White Hart Lane and have to ground share with them for a couple of seasons. The extra revenue this will bring in will raise the funds needed to intall the third tier at Stadium MK.

So what if Spurs don't want to ground share at MK? Highly possibe given that it's 50 miles away. That will still leave them with a half complete stadium. Muppets!

  5. Let's just get some things into perspective. They moved the club 70 miles so the majority of Wimbledon fans won't go any more as it's about a 2 hour drive to watch their so called 'home team'. They've moved to a city where everybody will already have a team that they support, so attracting new fans is always going to be a near impossible task. The best they can hope for is that parents may take their kids for something to do on a Saturday afternoon, but most of those kids will already support one of the big 4. The whole set up is a disgrace. You can't go moving Football Clubs all over the country.

A mate of mine was a life long Wimbledon supporter. Ironically he lives in Milton Keynes, but he'll never go and watch MKD. For him, Wimbledon FC died the day they moved from South London.
