I totally agree. Derry was still incorrect initially though for being absolutely certain that he was offside.

I wouldn't expect a fan in the stand to make the correct decision but as I already said the linesman is closer to the action and it is also his job. He is a professional who gets paid to make these calls so I would expect him to be better at it than you or me or amazingly even derry for that matter.

How is it disrespectful to say I had doubts about jos' ability to step up to the Premiership? Why is that disrespectful? I've watched him with my own eyes for a number of games and come to that conclusion. It's simply a difference of opinion.
