I really don't think it is in the football league's interest for that to happen. IF no one is prepared to buy the club with the terms they are setting out (lets guess and say that's to start the season on -25) then the football league have the choice on whether to comprimise or to let the club die. Now Tony seems to suggest that the league are looking to resolve this issue as well as the club but I imagine that things are slow because the league will try to get away with as much as they can. Just suppose that the league refuse to budge and we do cease to exist, the league could be presented with a legal battle and a logistical nightmare with regards to fixtures. The bad PR it will also generate is something I am sure they will be keen to avoid. One thing is certain, the saga will not be over at the end of next week if we go under. I can't imagine either party will want this scenario in any way.

So people will have to accept the Pinnacle offers which they called illegal or the club is no more.

Who is Micheal Fialka, the propective new owner

As would I. I'm really irritated that pinnacle have wasted our precious time. Either complete today or **** off tbh. I couldn't give a **** about points deductions, I'm really worried we are going to have no one -
Investor worth several hundred million?

The Echo is interesting tomorrow. -
So is this true? Was tony telling porkies or being creative with the truth?
-
Darn. I really thought it was going to be one wealthy investor. Why did Tony say he was worth several hundred million if he isn't? A consortium is not really what I was expected so it's a bit disappointing.

I'm going to pull my hair out! It isn't about the -10 clearly. It's about leaving us open to further points deductions. It seems obvious to me and TL has suggested it himself. Either the football league agree a cva and give us just ten points or the team folds. I can't see that happening as that is a scenario that neither parties want

And Mawhinney

Salz won't get the club IMO
-
So it's about the possibility of extra points deductions then.
-
Problem is time is not on our side! We need to get this sorted next week at the latest
-
I don't though. FWIW that is who I would put my money on if I was betting.
-
I'm bored now. They really should just accept the ten points and be done with it.
-
Cheers everyone. I'll try your advice Baj as soon as I get a minute to myself.
-
I do. I actually think it is broken. The wireless was not working for a few hours at a time. I really need an engineer or something to have a look around
-
Cheers. That's sort of what I was thinking. I've had problems for ages, I can't believe how badly set up it all is. I apparently had a download speed of 512kbps yesterday but when I signed up last week was told I would get 2mbps.
-
Nick why are you so down on them all the time? I know it's frustrating but I have seen nothing yet to get me concerned to the extent that you are, unless you know something I don't?
-
Just joined BT and the speed is awful, truly terrible so that I can hardly browse the internet at all. I have spent ages on the phone and basically the bloke said to me that because I am so far from the exchange, I'm not going to get a much better speed. My question is which ISP should I go to to ensure that I have a half decent speed? I don't need anything amazing, just good, fast, decent and reliable internet. My postcode is SO15 5BZ.
-
Nickh, could you confirm this thing about the pay?
-
I asked if he could put a rough time oo when this would be completed. Doesn't look like today folks!
-
I'm sure Tony won't mind me posting this: Good morning I would love to have a crystal ball and answer your question, but as I hope has become clear, I am very straight with people, so I don't know the answer. The reality is, if everything is put in front of me and is actually right (legally and morally), I will sign the deal right away. I will not be bullied nor pursuaded into something which is anything less that perfect - and that should to you, and your fellow fans, show a statement of intent for the future. Under our ownership, the Club will come first - and so it should do. Thanks for your message, sorry if I am unable to answer the question further, but I will be happy to answer any further questions once this is all out of the way. Best wishes Tony

Well they are taking over the running of the club are they not? It's a takeover in all but name
