  1. Great post.
  2. So it's not a "name" and hasn't been mentioned on here. Can't be too many though because almost everyone with hundreds of millions has been on here at some point! Did you get my PM by the way the other day?
  3. I agree with that (except I'm not overly keen on Murray). Federer is just honest. When he plays brilliantly he says he has and when he doesn't he says that too! It's just that normally he plays well so what is he supposed to say? That he played awful? I think he needs a good coach again though because he has been poor by his standards this year. Hope he can win the French and then Wimbledon again though.
  4. Has the name been mentioned on here then?
  5. It wasn't advertised properly, no one knew who the legends appearing were, it was overpriced and most sensible people knew it would make zero difference to the final outcome (and so it has proved.) People aren't stupid, they aren't going to give 20 quid of their hard earned money in a recession when the likelihood is it will make no difference to anything.
  6. What about the people involved now
  7. Meh. I like Federer.
  8. It's really odd on here because every figure in saint's history except ted bates and MLT has at least someone on here who hates them and wants a moan about them. It's nice that this doesn't happen for these two.
  9. Correct.
  10. Thanks for understanding my point of view.
  11. Read the letter. That isn't the case.
  12. Murray will lose in the quarters.
  13. Problem is you can't prove mismanagement. They could bar them from ever getting into a position of power at another football club I suppose!
  14. What makes you think that?
  15. Just like to state now: never at any point during the last few weeks have I hung off of Jackson's words. I haven't even spoken to the man and I never wanted him in any position to make decisions about our club.
  16. In order to not get relegated you have to spend a certain amount of money. Besides, it was our stadium debt which was the main problem which was perfectly manageable in the prem.
  17. Yep. Encouraging people to come to the games and get behind the club was a very good idea. Respect to Nick and Co. for that.
  18. ??? You've lost me.
  19. Why is that?
  20. It's possible but I reckon unlikely. Multi millionaires aren't going to sign up because they see some fans rattling buckets. IMO we would have got bought whatever the fans did so no we wouldn't be dead and buried.
  21. Was the bald bloke the one who went totally mental and throw his beer all over the ceiling? Funny time.
  22. Agreed but being misguided can actually do more harm than good.
  23. Saints Aid was great but ultimately it failed in its aims to raise finance for the club. I don't criticise the obvious effort and commitment but I suggest that the idea in the first place was misguided. Surely they saw the scale of the task and realised that they would neverever be able to save the club or even scratch the surface?
