go on then, one from each of us and back on topic as well! are you happy this explains the situation or do you think there is a more negative explanation as your OP hinted?
-
can add QPR, Cardiff, Millwall,Watford, Doncaster, etc etc to Rochdale

danger of getting greedy and going for the man city solution of throwing more players at the squad in the hope it will work. the side we had at the end of last season showed it was good enough - and that was without a RB! (we now have two) we have lost our speedy impact sub - but AP says one is to come, plus we now have Ox-C. we have added Guly for competition at CM I also expect more to come from Seaborne and Martin as they mature. Much of our squad are still to peak - Lallana, Schneiderlin, and Puncheon. I would like a star CM, and another CB to Fonte's standard, another big CF - but don't think we should need them - this squad should be competing for the title if players and manager perform to their potential and we are not very unlucky with injuries.

me and alpine want to get to the bottom of these rifts - first Patterson then Papa - what's going on?

good post to end the day with!

opinion based on facts I included to assist him
-
far too optimistic
-
Think my £500,000 is more reasonable, but if thats base on your knowledge of football go with it
-
who much do you think he is worth?
-
thank god!
-
ok you win he is worth £50m you have seen that special something we all missed.

20 years old, I have seen most of his games at league 1 level, was playing in non-league 12 months ago, has now less than 12 months on his contract. what makes you... - no we all know!
-
one big aim for this window was to keep Fonte, Lambert, Lallana etc - so far achieved. next priority was RB - done. next were CM - was hoping for someone who I knew to be first name in midfield but looking forward to seeing if Guly can do that Winger - not done yet but still being promised. Transfer window is not over, and busiest part of it still to go so too early to judge it Think Ox-C and Martin have been seen by Pardew as almost new signings for this season
-
our weakest position was RB. We have signed two good RBs.
-
with this weak squad, no attempts to improve it as manager and CEO act like headless chickens, no plan B - would be surprised if we do as well as losing them all
-
transfer fees are strange but would say £1m is about double his value
-
think away games may be better at mo, less pressure and less defensive opposition
-
made me chuckle, my kids do that when losing and arguement!

I view saints subjectively. I have even sung by far the greatest team... however I am sure you would have been telling the crowd how wrong they are! This is nothing objective about liking a football team... thats where we clearly differ. You appear to get no enjoyment from saints - why bother? Genuine question. And your response to my thoughts on why papa didn't play more (some objective facts there!!)
-
I should have stuck with the reasoned response above, however you struggle to debate reasoned responses. I have criticised where I feel right - and have done so this season. I will not make up facts to fit in with an anti-saints agenda, feel I am in a position to make demands, nor moan about odd negatives when things are going well - but you are of course free to "support" saints how you see fit. I just think it is weird!!

results are nothing to do with you looking foolish and anti the club
