This is a stupid post. Lambert is far and away are best player. Lallana was very good last season but this season went missing from oct-jan. How anyone can say lambert isnt our best player is beyond me. He isnt just about goals but sets up so many moves too. Lambert will win champ player of year.

How? Look how many goals he has scored? He set up most of our attacks first half and also set guly up for his chance second half. Won nearly everything in the air and scored with his first chance of the match. In england the fans seem to notice people who run up and down and dont influence the game directly in anyway ie ripley etc.

Tonight only reinforced my view. I think nigel(great manager) was wrong to say lallana is the best player in the league. Lambert has proved he is. His finishing is in a different class to lallana and he also creates just as many if not more than adam. Tonight rickie won nearly everything in the air but he has to pull out to the wing to create all the time. I feel nigel was wrong to say that when rickie is blatantly the best player in the league this year.

Dead right. He does a lot of flash work but football is about end product. Thats why matty was so good. Lambert has to create and score, again for me lambert is our best player.

Did you go to west ham? Puncheon was brilliant when he came on. Other than rickie and davis no one was very good in first half at leeds. Holmes has been pants for ages for us and I just dont get this love in with a player who has done nothing for us. Hes now got 2 assists playing in league 2! Amazing. The lad is a top bloke but he isnt the answer for us and please dont kid yourself that he is as good as puncheon, hes not.

No le tiss was better as his goals were more crucial and unlike cannon he played his whole career in top flight. Also cannon left us and played for Pompey. I love channon but le tiss is the greatest player we have ever had no question. Even channon says it himself.
