  1. Hoping for a better day Ludlow 1.30 Tabaran
  2. Thanks, the 1st 2 are shorter than I hoped so gone for a win double. The 2.10 at Bangor looks pretty competitive, you can get 5/1 on Skippers Brig on Betfair but only 7/2 at Totesport. I think Just Smudge might be the main danger.
  3. Warw 12.50 Ranjobaie Dund 18:30 Keraloun Kemp 18:50 Slip Sliding Away
  4. I disagree with myself too!! Was getting the 2 mixed up, Vitali has only ever lost to Lewis ( with a bad cut) and Chris Byrd when he quit with a damaged shoulder. He fights Kevin Johnson on Dec 12th, he is regarded by some as the best of the USA heavyweights though that is not really saying a lot though I believe he is undefeated.
  5. No, I'm pretty sure that Ruiz still has the right to a mandatory challenge. Wladimir is the better of the 2 Klitchos, it was his fight v Haye that was postponed. However, it was Vitali who fought Lewis in 2003.
  6. Hopefully he'll tell them to get on their bike! As far as I know Sam Tomkins has committed himself to Wigan, I'd expect Eastmond to stay in RL for now at least. The grass isn't always greener on the other side.
  7. Haven't see Maish on TV for ages, did extremely well to come through the qualifier but I doubt King will be losing any sleep now they are in the same group.
  8. Well Haye has to fight John Ruiz next anyway as a mandatory challenge. Hard to see why he would avoid the Klitchos and yet fight something as huge as Valuev. If memory serves wasn't Haye due to fight one of the Klitchos but pulled out through injury ? Either way you'll find it is not the boxer who makes the matches anyway, I have no doubt Haye would fight anyone they put in front of him.
  9. Yes, Richie Woodall and Steve Bunce are both excellent, they know what they are talking about and called the fight just about right. I'm still amazed Watt gave it to Valuez, was he watching a different fight :smt102
  10. Not you surely !!
  11. Oi, leave me out of this !
  12. Indeed, how can we forget! Very lazy journalism not to get such an easy fact right.
  13. Yep, thanks. I've managed to watch a lot of the fight in different clips including the last round and the decision. Great stuff.
  14. 115/113 was Watt's score in favour of Valuev, said he thought Haye might have been too "negative". What rubbish, the 116-112 was about right IMO. Not even sure how one judge could score it even ?
  15. At least you are finally up now, get a move on please. I still can't wait
  16. Yep, I agree too. No harm in asking a question if you don't know the answer, would suggest it makes you humble rather than stupid TBH.
  17. In truth I'd seen far more of Haye boxing than Valuev but I knew Haye was a classy fighter and the clips I'd seen of Valuev were enough for me to think Haye had a great chance as he proved. Fair to say I'm a fan of Haye, as mentioned I don't believe the ****iness pre fight was anything more than hype. The times I have seen Haye fight and his post fight interviews he comes across as a decent and articulate guy.
  18. Is being completely stupid not infractable
  19. Unbelievably reading the Sky site their pundits thought Haye was lucky to win ??
  20. Think this link should work : http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,26691,13273_5681800,00.html 12/13 sec advert and then the interview.
  21. England it was and by 8 points Wish I had backed that and Haye to win on points as I also predicted!
  22. Good man, can't wait ! Listened on the radio and it was much more nervy than listening to a Saints match !
  23. Yes though I'm not sure who the wildcard is, someone like Baxter could make it tougher. The Barney/Part/Painter group looks really loaded though one would expect Van Barneveld to progress though it could well be close. My last 8: Taylor King Barneveld Lloyd Mardle Anderson Lewis Wade
  24. Yes, around about 12th favourite with the bookies at 66/1 though I think 500/1 would be more realistic. He has no chance even though his group isn't the strongest though if Mardle is in the right mood he'll take him out.
  25. England were excellent in the 2nd half and will take a lot of confidence from that. Also NZ had such a stroll against France it was hardly a game to sharpen them up so I reckon England by 6-8 points.
