Just ignore those who criticise, I'm sure you know it is common on here. I'm appreciative of anyone who posts pics of a game. I have to admit many years ago I went to a stock car race meeting and took a pic of the track whilst a race was in progress and managed to include exactly NO cars which if you have ever been takes some doing

2018 World Cup bid - Time for Saints to step in
chrisobee replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Lol, as if they could even afford to build one new seat !! -
I think if he had fallen over when he stumbled and ended up heading the ball in that would have been the icing on the cake !!
-
Yes, it was a very bad challenge, though players of course should not react you can understand to a point why they did. That was a potentially leg breaking challenge.

I posted this in reply to the subject on the main board though it does seem to be a recurring theme. Thought it was an idea worth posting but feel free to delete it/me ! "Since the question of where to watch highlights comes up after every game maybe it is possible to have permanent links to the relevant sites. "

Since the question of where to watch highlights comes up after every game maybe it is possible to have permanent links to the relevant sites, just a thought- I have them from time to time !

Quote from Ricky Ponting : ''Down the track, we all think that with Shane's style of play, he would be suited down in the middle order and being able to give us 15 to 20 overs as well,'' Ponting said. ''That's the cricketer I always thought he would be. He can bat pretty much anywhere in the order which is terrific for us, but the difficulty that presents is how many overs are you going to push to get out of him knowing that he's going to have to bat at the start of the second innings?" Says Mr Polythene bag man !

Nice pics, always appreciated but seems you missed the Saints goals which is not good enough

Teams can sign 4 overseas players for 20/20 I believe but play only 2 in any one match. Would feel 3 would be enough, leaving 2 on the sidelines each match would seem to be quite costly though the idea clearly indicates what a money spinner 20/20 has become. I'm trying really, really hard to take it seriously though saying that I clearly want Hants to win every game and will watch them at every opportunity in any format. However, I have NO interest at all in International 20/20 and think they should stick to Tests and 50 over ODI's which gives more of a balance. It's not going to happen though:(

Nannes is an excellent signing by Notts, I think it was their coach ( Mick Newell ?) described him as the "the most effective Twenty20 bowler in the world ." For sure he is very, very good though I would still prefer Brett Lee, please !
-
Agreed, he is a very good all rounder, opening in ODI's may be Ok but in Tests he is better coming in around number 6. Not surprised he's a nice guy, that has been my impression of him though just through watching him play cricket. Really am definitely not sure though what his fit girlfriend has to do with anything but thanks for sharing Maxi !!

Paul Nicholls does not seem as certain, of course he may be just talking down Denman's chances as trainers often do ? I would be very suprised if he was not placed at least. http://www.attheraces.com/article.aspx?hlid=504974&raceid=&title=Nicholls+not+expecting+Denman+win&lid=&ref=PA+Racing+Feed&nav=&sub=&day=Wed Edit: He also mentions My Will at the end of the article.

Think it is up to date, for sure Beckford did not score last night anyway.
-
Less likely but still highly probable TBH !
-
As mentioned above he is the favourite at 6/4 with Curbishley and Coppell seemingly the next most fancied.
-
Not heard about that, assumed it was just the fickle nature of Football clubs that as Peterborough are bottom of the CCC they sacked him despite his previous success.
-
Darren Ferguson, 6/4 now from 11/1 ! I always find these managerial changes amusing as most of the time the man appointed comes from nowhere and the bookies make a killing !
-
Agreed, he is better off out of it !
-
He is the favourite with the only bookies to price it up so far, 6/4 at Victor Chandler. So if you think Grant is the man that's not a bad price. Rednapp and Adams both 50/1.

I don't think MOTD or MOTD2 is ever available on i-player, Sky having such a large percentage of the rights to show PL matches I would say is almost certainly the reason. I missed it as well
