  1. i,m not worried bout the skates history like huddersield its for the history books when i was growing up saints were in the top division and i had no inkling pompey had won the league twice pre war and always thought they were a div 2 or 3 side but has i said before the latest crisis it would be a slow death once the vultures at the club had stripped the club of all its assets and latest going ons confirm my belief. i think the fans would be better of forming a new club from scratch afc pompey with no debts and climbing he leagues like aldershot did.
  2. because i heard nonsence like this from the marxist left and similiar scare storys in the 1970s when the likes of scargill and ben and skinner wanted us out and were proved wrong. i am glad we did not join the euro but do not believe we would have much influence with negotiationing trade agreements with the worlds biggest tradeing blocks has a small island if we left.in my lifetime i have not noticed any difference to before we joined except i have seen the country become alot richer.
  3. you are right and we would be subject to europeon free trade agreement like norway etc but have no say in the making of the rules.

  5. has far has i know the euro is still around or did i miss the return of the german and french currencys and i expect it will still be around in the future so how are they right. i,ve just seen that right wing nutter nadine dorriss on newsnight slapped down bythatcherite and former defence and Foreign Secretary malcolm rifkind for misinformation and it showed she did not have a clue what she was talking about,
  6. i believe in our prime minister and he will defend our interests despite the backstabbers of the looney right trying to destroy the tory party.if the looney right don,t like it have the guts and defect to ukipfor their so called principles.god i thought the labour party of the 70s was bad when the marxist left hijacked the party but bill cash and nadine dorriss of this world our barking mad.
  7. agree with it on trains, bus and electric and gas but think private sector should manage the rest and only only nationalize sectors which effect the national interest and then sale back to the private sector
  8. true its about time we made things again to pay our way in the world and had the vision of the germans for long term planning something governments of the 60s and 70s tried to create but unfortunately we had a them and us class division where we rather fight then have unity for the greater good of the country. Germany had quietly become the world’s second-largest exporter (after China). Indeed, Germany’s exports have contributed two-thirds of the country’s economic growth over the past decade and have driven its GDP per capita to increase faster than that of any other major industrialized country. When it comes to boosting exports, of course, the need to maintain or even increase the size of the manufacturing sector, in particular, has been an article of faith in major developed countries for decades. Politicians and voters alike believe that having companies that “make something” is a key element of economic success, in part because manufacturing jobs have historically paid above average wages. For its part, Germany embraced manufacturing, and much of its economic success is thanks to that decision
  9. i think they will find away for the greeks to leave has i cannot see how they can survivein the euro.
  10. and now they will have to take steps to address these problems or leave the euro and devalue the currency.
  11. the euro as far has i know still survives so they have not been proved right and has the history of the us doller showsit did not happen overnight .gorden brown was for the euro and Gordon Brown approached his last budget has Chancellor and evaluating his success or failure. One important contribution he made was to steer the UK away from joining the Euro on the ground that "it would not be in Britain's economic interest". The justification for this was based on his 5 economics tests and thats how it should be unlike the greeks and others fiddling the figures to join the euro..
  12. lets face the trouble with the euro was they let countries like spain, italy, greece ireland fiddle the figures which let them join the euro, their economys were never strong enough to survive and thats why i cannot see the uk in the euro has we have a history of devaluing the pound apart from the early 80,s when a overvalued pound destroyed our manufacturing base and will be in the second tier of a 2 speed europe.
  13. I think most normal people are more worried about jobs and being ripped of by the energy companys and riseng food bills than the chattering classes about the ec Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  14. The jury is still out on the euro and brown made sure Blair did not sign up to the euro.you forget it waS the labour party who did not want to join the ec in the 70s when the Tories were the pro euro party till Maggie saddled the party with the looney right and she took us deeper into europeon superstate.so if Maggie did not take us out its never gone to happen.its one thing hateing the ec but if your in power reality takes over.that's why the national interest comes first for all our leaders and has for the daily mail its a paper for d..ckheads so the perfect euro nutters paper.if you believe that rag.I,be got more respect for the sun and the beano. 15. I just think when the euro crisis is sorted out .in a few years time the world economy will provide enough growth for the growth of jobs to get unemployed back into work. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  16. I suppose then you and your looney right consertive travellers will put up for the leadership of the party Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  17. The looney right like the Marxist left live in a dream world .the euro is here to stay and we willl see a 2 speed Europe with the likes of Greece keeping us company.thank god Cameron like most prime ministers before him look after our national interest. The second world war finished in1945 but you think the nutty right still think we are stilll at war. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  18. no they will not foist it on us if there is no agreement they will go to the core 17 members of the euro and they will shape their own destiny and willl not worry if the uk wants to stay on the outside and have no say in making the rules and protecting our interests.
  19. I agree and like the old saying simple things please simple minds Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
