teaching people bible stories or how God made the world:rolleyes:i thought churchs should teach religion and the separation of state and religion is a good thing. it should be left up to schools if they want re lessons and give parents the right to have their kids opt out of these lessons. i have not got problems with it being taught with history and other faiths in that context but having seperate lessons on re ideology if you do not believe in the word of god.. then it might get those in the church of their backside and start helping the poor and displaced instead of sitting in their ivory towers and we might see parents sending their kids to sunday school like they did in the old days.

i agree its the churchs job to teach people about religion but can understand it being taught in history classes.has we are not a religious society i don,t understand why this is forced upon our kids .

yes i read its next wensday somewhere you would have thought pompey fans would have started a new football club called afc pompey and bury the waste of space which is pompey and all there debts and start afresh.

good post and if the queen wants a boat let her pay for it and maintain the boat shes one of the richest people in the world for gods sake and i don,t see why my taxes should pay for so called royals toys. and why the hell do we still have bishops still in our unelected second chamber when the country at large is not religious . oh because of our history.lets modernize the country so more and more people get involved in the democratic process at every level and i for one would love to see someone from the bottom of our society reach the top has a elected president of this country and inspire others rather than worry about tourist attractions and relics from the past.
