Hauritz, going for c&b, dislocated a finger on his bowling hand. Their only spinner out of action. I hope that doesn't end this as a contest.
-
Oof!! That's nasty.
-
Here's an idea, rather than this going off topic and turning into an unseemly slanging match... why doesn't everyone who wants to sing do that, while everyone who doesn't want to can just let them do it. That way nobody has to wrestle with their morals.

229 vs Windies in Feb this year. In fact they've scored higher 18 times by my reckoning.

Trotting along quite nicely here. We want to play it patient but Johnson's bowled some absolute bum.
-
But bowling a maximum of 4 overs. I'd choose riches over being crippled in later life too.

I've got a healthy record of getting a bit drunk and letting everyone down, particularly myself.

Anybody continuing to pay money for Bobby Zamora is, IMO, a mental.

I agree with all of that. Dropping players all over the place is just panic measures. England are a much better team than they showed in that test and it's their mentality that needs to change rather than their playing staff. With the exception of Monty for Onions. And I think it should be Onions over Harmison as he's in better nick.

What he said.

I'm probably being irrational and superstitious, but the old adage in business and ****ging is "never go back".

No thanks, i just put one out

He'll always have my effction as a handsome and affective administrator.

Monty, you absolute beauty! Brilliant knock by Ponting finally over for 150.

I can see you know your sh1t.

Hugely entertaining late flurry from england. Broad's struggling to get the measure of Hughes though. Might be time for Flintoff to frustrate him for a bit.

Boycott in the box is like KP on the pitch. Bristles with arrogance and disdain, will have a lash at anything, and when he's wrong he's spectacularly wrong. Hearing him wind himself up into an explosive lather is one of the joys of the english summer. The perfect counterpoint to the mellow chumminess of Aggers and Marks.

The Lions seemed to have a deal of success taking the attack to Johnson, so hopefully Strauss will realise the onus is on him to get cracking from the off. Cook needs a man at the other end to do the scoring until he gets to 30-odd. I agree with your line-up, Steve. Although I'd be tempted to play Broad ahead of Flintoff in the order. It's going to be tight, that's my only prediction.

It also features in Schindler's Ark, the book that the 'List' film was based on. A Jewish musician playing at a dinner party gets a request for the song from a melancholy looking SS officer, so he plays it repeatedly, with increased intensity, until the officer goes outside and shoots himself.

Cheers for all the advice re: stadium capacity. Building work is in progress. Meantime Amon Duul III tonked the so called Liverpoolchamps 0-11, taking our GD after 7 games to +48. I am literally phuqing this league. One or two of my youth squad look like they might have potential to at least warrant a run out in the senior squad next year.

That one always made me smile. No More Affairs was always a bit of a chilly heartbreaker though. I always assumed it was about finding out you had the AIDS.
