The highlighted parts shows your lack of understanding, we are still one of the best and recognised forces in the world, not one of the biggest but one of the best. We still command a lot of influence around the globe and we have some of the most advanced tecnologies in the world if not a little expensive. As has been said we are an island and need to defend our shores which requires more than one or two boats.

It's not equally shared in comparison to how it's dished out, yes one of the payments is where you finish in the league but the other is from tv rights, each team must have a minimum amount of games on tv but there is no maximum so the bigger clubs get more airtime hence the bigger proportion of the money.

For us to drop out of the top six if we should lose all our games in October, which won't happen by the way, then all the other teams within striking distance of the top six would all have to have an amazing month, can you really see that happening

Weak up front after scoring 25 goals? The nearest to us is West ham wth 18 goals, guess the rest must be a lot weaker which suggests these other teams will find it harder to score than us.

The same applies to every team, we have the added advantage of points in the bag, the rest are playing catch up. If we have a bad month then so be it. I'm sure all other teams will have the same but your typical "it only happens to the saints" attitude meanss you can't see past your total negative one dimensional state.
