I didn't choose the 8 games it was the 8 consecutive games Davis was out injured, I could also go through many games where Davis has made mistakes just like the ones you claim Bart has made.

Please explain why it would be a gamble to put Bart in at this stage of the season. Was it a gamble when we brought him in last season for 8 games of which 6 were won?

People got to hear and know about Walcott whilst we were still in the premiership so would of been on more peoples radar, AOC has only known division 3 football and not many people will have seen or heard about him but it says a lot about the calibre of AOC when the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal are after or watching him. Whilst it's hard to compare two players AOC is as good as Theo was all those years ago and AOC's scoring rate is higher than Theo's was.

Any player can pick 3 consecutive games where the stats look good but try averaging Gully over all his games this season and not just his last 3 games and it doesn't look quite so rosy. Also against Huddersfield he should of scored at least 3 goals and had Barnard been on I reckon he would of buried at least 2 of those chances. Please don't even mention him in the same breathe as MLT.

Fuller deserved all the flack he got for his wanton disregard over a very long period when pulling on a saints shirt. Puncheon on the other hand was not slagged off after every game as he had some good appearances but as with all players if they have a stinker then they deserve the flak they get as we pay their wages.

Delap wasn't that bad and no worse than some others around him, he was always being swapped about going from midfield to right back so was never settled and we didn't utilise his long throw in as much as it's used these days for Stoke.

I agree it was a freak of a goal rather an own goal, some people see it as a means to batter Best when in fact it could of happened to anyone. Doesn't make Best any good though just unlucky on this occasion.

Best wanted to take the penalty and nothing to do with others bottling it, it's what strikers like doing taking penalties apart from the fact he missed it. Fuller was ****e for the first 8 months of his time as SMS, it wasn't till the April that he actually started scoring more frequently, 6 goals in 6 games, before that only 3 goals in about 25 appearances. How long do you give a player before you decide when you realise this "paid" star doesn't actually give a ****.

I never suggested I valued others opinions only my own plus we are looking at two completely different players here unless you are suggesting Guly is in the same class as MLT;)
