Even if we start well in this game we'll eventually shoot ourselves in the foot. Only take a one goal to destroy our confidence and then the goals flow.

Finding it hard to enjoy watching Saints these days. You'd like to celebrate the goals and feel perhaps we'll win. But can never shake the feeling that it won't last and when they got the first one back you almost expected Brighton to go on and win. No point getting hopes up. Sad really but I'm just weary of it..

Look pretty much the same as last year. We create more I think and we do have a regular goal scorer in Ings. But we don't win the games we should win.. St Mary's is an easy game for any team.

For all our fight and attacking the defence just isn't good enough. Nothing today makes me think we won't continue to struggle this season.

Needs a strong leader out there talking to the players around him. Let's slow it down. Just keep the ball etc.

Ings has great quality. Hopefully he can stay fit and keep popping up with goals. Might be a bargain at £20m.

Same here. Our mentality is so fragile that one goal will lead to another. Palace will be up for it and expect 3pts.

The level required to play in the premier league has changed. We haven't changed with it. We've become weaker.

We were superb up until their goal. So we know we have the quality in us. We just have no confidence at all. We're messing up the games we should be getting points in again.. It's actually astonishing we stayed up last season
