Not sure about our tactics today really. Bit strange. We've not really got into the second half and we've been throwing on reserve players to try and change the game.

Ramirez has been awful. Still adapting to the Premier league I guess.

I think we've just lacked variety this game. That's what Lallana brings. Switching the play etc.

We look a bit 1 dimensional. All down one side. Need to spread the play more so hopefully that's what De Ridder and Davis can bring.

Not a great start to the half.

Mayuka has energy but needs more game time. Disappointing to be 1-0 down at half time but that's the Premiership. Punished for mistakes.

We've had lots of lovely possession but nothing much to show for it. Must start testing the keeper in the second half.

Oh, well in that case I take it back. Surprised they are taking him back if he kept turning them down before...

Funny that Dalglish felt he wasn't good enough and now looks like he's heading back there.

Seemed to do okay today. Okay he should have scored but he looked lively enough. Certainly doesn't warrant the booing.

So relieved we made it over the line. Dominant performance but lacked that second goal. But a good days work for today. Must improve the finishing though if we are going to survive still.

2 weeks till our next game so it's a good a time as any to be injured.
