IF we lost 6-5 every game the fans would be more pi**ed off and less likely to go I think. Esp. if some of these we were 5-0 up and threw away 6 goals in the last 15 minutes...

Agreed about Gillespie. But disagree about Bridges. He has been excellent for Carlisle during his time there, creating goals, scoring out of nothing, but he does have a questionable injury record.

Lets hope he has more hits than misses. Good to hear he is actively looking!

We played fine first half. Then we started subbing players, as you do in pre-season, to give everyone a runout. Which weakened the team (of course) and so we let in some more goals. Second half perhaps was a waste of time, but not if 4-5 players got some fitness time? I don't agree we gave up.

I thought Murty was pretty poor against Ajax. Whether he can do a job against lower opposition though... not sure.
